Chapter 12 Lis

I take my time going out to face my roommate and slip into the room clutching my sapphire blue towel. I look around and notice that she's left and for a moment I feel relieved, going to get dressed. To feel confident I get into my favourite shirt which is a sleeveless hoodie with black leaves and swirls. I grab a pair of soft pink skinny jeans slipping on socks and a pair of black converse after them. I head over to my bag and find my light aqua watch and an infinity ring. I change my earrings for some dangling silver feathers and a pair of pale green roses that match my watch and a golden bird in my top hole to signify freedom. I shove a bracelet with green and gold on to set off my outfit. I find a heart shaped necklace and put it on and apply a lipgloss that matches my pants. I grab a bag that I bought when I turned 16 that's a pretty purple leather with buckles and wait for my roommate to return. to pass the time I end up sitting in front of the vanity table with a large mirror, brushing and styling my hair in an attempt to put it up in a ponytail but although it looks nice I let it fall and brush it out. I suddenly realised how much I rely on my hair to hide so I try to think of other forms of defence as I wait.
