Warning: They will be having sex at the end of this chapter. It will also be detailed. Sweet and lovely, but detailed. The fact that they're only 18 might bother some people. Just wanted to make that clear.

Happy reading,

Chapter Song: Almanac by The Acorn

Bella wasn't sure if being Supergirl was the best choice, she could've easily been Lois Lane instead. The Supergirl costume was more...steamy than she was used to. Alice had convinced her otherwise, dragging her to the Halloween store and helping her find just the right one. The top was slinky, but breathed well that was attached to the skirt that wasn't too short. She had to climb in it and pull it up the rest of her body. It took much convincing and a promise to teach her how to walk in heels properly for Alice to coerce Bella into buying the red leather boots that went with the ensemble.

Now, seeing Edward looking yummier than ever in a suit with the Superman emblem poking out the unbuttoned white shirt with unusually tame, quaffed hair and thick framed glasses, she was tremendously glad she'd decided on this getup. His heated eyes taking her in from head to toe made her feel more alive than ever before. Yup, killer choice. High-two me!

She titled her head at him, her hair down and smoothly styled for a change, falling over her shoulders in heavy curls. She only looked presentable because of a saint named Alice.

Edward shivered, still frozen.

She walked slowly to him because she was still wobbly from the unsteady height change, even though Alice had spent a whole afternoon coaching her.

He swallowed hard, almost audibly as his eyes skittered from her face, down her legs, up her body, then back to her face before smiling nervously.

She smiled back at him. "I feel silly."

"You don't look silly." His voice was lower and rougher than usual.

Bella smiled again, bigger this time. "Thanks."

"Are you r-ready?"

She nodded.

Neither moved as they waited for the other to make the first one.

Finally, Edward opened a hand out to her, wrapping his fingers around her wrist once she placed her palm against his. He smirked up at her after he bowed his head and kissed the thin skin atop her trembling hand.

Her eyes widen when he flipped her hand over to press his lips against her wrist—she could still feel his touch against the stretchy fabric—trailing them light as air up her arm, then her neck. Coiling her arms around his back, he let go of them to ever so slowly comb his fingers in her hair. He stayed close enough to where his heady presence drugged her into a near comatose state but far enough to where she could see his whole face.

She looked into green eyes that held her like none other, wishing she could press herself closer, but unable to move an inch. He smiled at her, looking at her as if she were the most lovely thing as his thumbs rubbed lazy circles around her temple. Her whole body caught fire, her breath hitching. If this was how she reacted to his innocent touches, she was slightly worried about what would happen to her later tonight, but not enough to make her have any second thoughts. She'd be more than happy to wake up in the hospital after being in a coma for months after being with him in the most intimate way lovers could. She'd do it again, then a third time. Hell, for the rest of her life.

"Sometimes I can't believe you're mine," Edward uttered softly to her.

They'd both totally forgotten they were right in front of Alice's house. Luckily, Alice was long gone with her fellow Drama Club friends. Peter and Charlotte could see them, but they had left them to their privacy with smiles as they reminisced on their early stages of love.
