I woke up feeling heavy. I did not drink the other night. Why do I suddenly feel heavy?

I rubbed my eyes and felt something behind me move. His arm was wrapped around my waist, feeling his weight all on me.

"Morning, Kitty," he whispered through my hair.

I immediately stood up and headed for the bathroom. I checked myself in the mirror and gasped. I looked very flushed.

I brushed my teeth using his toothbrush. I combed my hair with my hands and stared at the dark circles around my eyes.

I cursed.

I decided to take a shower. I smelt like him.

I went out and found the sleeping Ethan missing on his bed. I winced when I had heard his voice.

When I had looked over my shoulder, I found him, leaning on the bathroom wall, arms crossed to his chest.

He approached me and looked at me intently.

"Am I reason for those dark circles? Or the kiss we shared last night? Or both?" he teased.

I scoffed, even though I knew my cheeks would be flaming up again any moment. "Dream on!"

He inhaled and grinned widely. "You brushed. Good." Then he leaned to plant a kiss on my lips.

I was about to punch his chest when my phone had alarmed. When I had checked it, it was already 8:01am.

Damn! I'd be late for my class! I was not in my apartment so I didn't have clothes to wear.

"No clothes to wear, Kitty?" he teased again.

He walked to his cabinet and took out some clothes and handed them to me. I frowned. They were girl's clothing.

"These are yours. I took some from your apartment because I know I'll ask you for a sleepover."

When I had not moved, he pulled out the bra. I was surprised to see it was really mine.

How did he even manage to get my clothes?

"Do you want me to do the honor and wear it onto you?" he said, grinning wickedly. "I'll be very honored to see and feel them, Kitty."

I hissed at him and grabbed my clothes from his hand. He was laughing and shaking his head as he sat on his bed. I directed my feet to his bathroom and wore my clothes.

When I had gone out, I found him all dressed up and still smirking at me.

"I'll take you to school. My classes start at nine, anyway," he said.

He grabbed my hand. I pushed it away before I could feel the shivers again. He narrowed his eyes at me and took a step forward.

I took one backward. When I had tried to take one more, he hauled my waist to his body. I looked away.

"Look at me," he commanded.

But I did not do so.

"Fine," he whispered then he started to kiss my shoulder.

I gasped but said nothing.

"You'll be very late if you won't look at me, Kitty," he warned.

I had no choice. I turned and faced him. He was grinning and looking at me intently.

"That's my girl. I enjoyed last night, but that doesn't mean you have to be awkward around me. Marv was right. We were flirting so it happened. We're good," he said. "Right, Kitty?"

Are we?

Am I?

It was a difficult question he was asking.

I inhaled deeply. "Fine but you have to apologize to Lance for hitting him."

His brows furrowed. "He was hitting on you."

"He was just proving his point, Ethan, and he was right. You raged when you saw us," I explained.

He did not answer me. He looked away, lips puckered tightly.

"Do you like him?"

My jaw dropped at his question, but really of the tone in his voice. Was he jealous? I smirked in my mind, entertained by his actuations.

"He's nice," I answered.

His lips thinned as he glared at me. "So you like him?"

"It's not impossible," I responded.

His jaw clenched and looked like he was about to fume up again. Damn, he was so cute. I couldn't fight it. I kissed him on the cheek and winked at him. I leaned to his ear.

"But I like you better," I whispered.

Yep. I flirt with him, so what?

That's all I can do.

His mouth quirked up and popped a smile on his face. He leaned his forehead to mine and closed his eyes before brushing his lips to mine briefly.
