The sun was streaming in through my windows and I yawned, tiredness echoing through my throat.
I stretched my hands out and blinked a few times. It was so cozy and comfy in my bed. In no way did I want to get out and have to deal with the Reese family.
Much to my dismay, I heard a loud banging outside my room. A loud banging on my door, actually.
“I’m sleeping.”, I croaked, pulling the covers over my head.
My door opened abruptly and Chaz, Danny, Clay, and Finn piled in. No shirt, just boxers.
As Covergirl would have put it…Easy, breezy, beautiful.
“We brought you breakfast!”, Clay sang out happily.
“It’s really good.”, Danny ushered the tray of food towards me.
“Try some!”, Chaz exclaimed.
I was just about to take a bite when Finn said, “Yeah, we made it ourselves!”
I spit out the portion of blueberry pancake that I was about to eat and gagged a little.
“What’s the occasion?”, I narrowed my eyes suspiciously.
“Nothing. We just wanted to give our beautiful guest a beautiful breakfast!”, Clay answered.
“Beautiful my ass. Her hair looks like something’s nesting inside of it.”, Finn began, cracking up, when Danny finally placed a forceful hand over Finn’s smile.
“Excuse him. Someone woke up on the wrong side of bed.”, Danny smiled.
“When does he ever not?”, I rolled my eyes.
They shrugged it off and watched me take a cautious sip at my orange juice.
“So what is it that you guys need, exactly?”, I asked, eye-ing them.
“Not much.”, Danny answered half-heartedly.
“What is it, exactly?”, I demanded, beginning to get annoyed.
“Well, you see…”, Clay began.
“We need you to talk to Matt Simons for us and get us invited to his party.”, Finn blurted, his eyes widening.
“Finn, we told you to stay quiet and just stand there like a good boy!”, Clay exclaimed, exasperated.
“Well, it wasn’t like you guys were going to go any faster. The party IS tomorrow, you know!”, Finn said.
“What? Why can’t you guys get yourselves invited? Aren’t you like only the most popular kids in school?”, I retorted. “And since when were you guys the ones to follow rules? Why don’t you just crash?”
