Chapter 9
(SO MANY GRAMMAR MISTAKES AND STUFF, I"M SORRY I DON'T HAVE TIME TO EDIT)
~~
My roots were showing.
Crap, crap, crap.
No, no, no, no, no.
This was not good.
I groaned as I inspected the blonde roots prominently contrasting the rest of my dark hair. They just sat there, as if they were screaming, "Hey look at us! Dumb blonde alert! Fake malibu barbie alert! Does this blonde head belong to a cheerleader or slut? Haha, that was a trick question! BOTH!"
I parted my hair more to the side, trying to hide the blonde, but it was to no avail.
I quickly tied my hair up into a messy bun, hoping to dear god it didn't look too bad.
My hair struggled, restrained by the hair elastic; but thankfully, did not explode.
I went back to unboxing all my things as I thought over what happened yesterday.
"Ugh, i really should have done this weeks ago.", i muttered to myself as I started unpacking all my books, piling them onto the bookshelf haphazardly.
I sighed happily, still appreciating my alone time.
Yesterday had turned out to be the weirdest day. My fight with Finn had lasted all day, and yet, the most aggressive fight yesterday had occured between Finn and Clay-not Finn and I.
Half the things they said made absolutely no sense and since a while ago, I had jus started tuning their fights out. There was no point in trying to decipher ther grunts, screams, and random jabs at eachother.
Clay had actually ended up following up on his word, as he dragged us all out to go eat some ice-cream. Well, not exactly dragged. I would accept free ice-cream anytime.
Incase you were wondering, I got cookie-dough, with chocolate syrup, sprinkles, banana slices, strawberries, and gummy bears.
When we got back, Finn was sitting on the couch watching some dumb TV show and laughing like he didn't have a care in the world. Clay quickly joined him and everyone soon went back into their "routine" lives, acting like absolutely nothing happened.
Who does that? Oh, right. I forgot i was living with the Reese boys.
About an hour later, I finished unpacking all my books and decided to call it a day as I kicked the empty cardboard box out of my room.

The next couple weeks flew by in a blur. No new fights had occured, everyone seemd normal, but the house was a little more quiet than the "norm." Finn, Clay, Danny, and Chaz continued to have their Reese boy moments with me (mostly Clay) as they gave me numerous undecipherable messages, breath-taking glances, weird acts of kindness, and sloppy smirks. Well, not so much with Finn, but he wasn't as bad as usual. He was more so on the playful, "make-fun of her" side rather than the "I hate Alyssa; I want her out of the house" side.
But soon, everyone began to acknowledge their pre-school jitters. With moving in during the summertime, i had almost forgotten about school.
But of course, the blissful days of no school would come to an end eventually; Much like all good things do.
And one quaint Friday morning, after waking up, I sat up in bed, holding my schedule for first semester classes, coming to the sheer realization that school was starting on Monday.
