Chapter 19
Murder, Bloody Murder!(proceed with caution-not proofread at ALL!)

There was buzzing. Constant buzzing. That annoying chime that's the default ringtone for all iphones.
Groggily, I tried to open my eyes, only to regret it moments later. Sunlight spilled in through the cracks in the curtains and I immediately forced my eyelids shut. Rolling onto my side, I tried to ignore the throbbing pain in my head.
I groaned, noticing the mass of tangled hair plastered to the side of my face. Where was I? I clearly had not changed from the previous night. Rolling onto my other side, I realized I was on a bed. A water bed?
That's when I saw the hair. The hair. His hair. And suddenly, pieces of the previous night came back to me.
That's when the panic set in.

The music continued to pulsate throughout the house, almost loud enough for me to actually feel the vibrations from the beat.
And there he was. Dex. His mouth on mine. And there I was. Completely into it.
Or so I thought.
His mouth moved against mine to a rhythm as old as time. I sat there, frozen for a moment, convincing myself I wasn't into it. And then I just gave in.
His tongue grazed over mine as his hands began to explore my body, his fingers getting dangerously close to the hemline of my shirt, which, might I add, had already been riding up.
He was completely on top of me and I didn't care.
It was the alcohol.
Or maybe it was just that I hadn't been with a guy in a really long time.
It was dark and there was no one there to judge me. Who could've possibly said or remembered anything, anyways? Right? Wrong.
"Alyssa!", someone screamed, shining a light in our direction.
Immediately, I tore away. Gulping, I dared myself to see who had seen me doing the deed.
Luckily, she was alone and there weren't many people around to see what had been going on. I blew out a slight sigh of relief, however still a little annoyed it was Tori. I knew I'd have to explain myself at some point.
She smirked. "Am I interrupting?"
"No.", I patted my hair down.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, I am sure. Now, what is it?", I cleared my throat.
Dex sat there silently, a little dazed, with a dumb grin on his face.
"We're playing some pong. We need a few extra players.", The smirk never left her face.
"Don't you only need 3 other people for that?", I asked impatiently.
"No, we play with 8 and kick people off the team as it gets harder.", she checked her phone. "And I'm nto even playing. But they needed some girls to play and all the other ones are really drunk."
I looked at her pointedly. "Seriously?"
"Probably not but they're all terrible shots so it wont' be interesting. They wanted to see how you Cali girls did it.", she mocked a guy's voice.
