The wedding and the the after party was finished and I was now back at Rios chilling in the living room with him and Marcelo, watching 13 reasons why.
"Fam Hannah is an attention seeker" Rio sighed.
"Rio you can't say that. Can you not see how badmind her 'friends' are to her" Marcelo said, I nodded in shock of Rios comment.
"Yeah but it could've all been prevented to be honest. She could've just stuck up for herself more. Pattern them uno" he shrugged.
"Rio I actually can't believe you're saying this. Not everyone has it in them to pattern how many people for bullying her over something she can't change" I said quietly whilst playing with my fingers. "I mean not everyone has it in them to stop shit from going round bout them. Like they can't con-"
"Shit sorry Ang. I don't even know why I said that, suicide ain't even a thing for seeking attention. It's just the aftermath of not receiving the help you scream for." He said moving next to me and stopping me from playing with my fingers.
"No it's fine I was just saying. I need to get home though I told my dad I was leaving the wedding an hour and 45 minutes ago" I smiled getting up.
"It's late lemme drop you" marcelo offered
"Nah lemme walk you" Rio shrugged.
"No to both of you" I laughed "I'm fine thanks boyss" I said whilst putting my jacket and shoes back on.
"I wasn't asking still" Marcelo said whilst sliding his feet into his sliders and grabbing his car keys off the table next to me.
"Hurry up and drop her then. And quit beating each other in front of me bruv" Rio screwed whilst pulling me into another hug.
I sighed releasing from him whilst rolling my eyes to where they couldn't return and then smiled "thanks marcelo"'
I got in the car and it was a quick and quiet ride to my place.
I cleared my throat and unbuckled my seat belt. "Thanks again for the lift" I mumbled.
"It's calm. So er.. you got bullied when you was younger ay?"
"Huh?"
"The way you reacted to what that dumb shit Rio said seemed more personal than it should've so-"
"Oh nah I was just saying. Uno how insensitive Rio can be, anyways gotta go before my dad looks out the window" I said cutting him off as I did not want to get onto that subject at all. We wasn't cool like that no more.
"Yeah yeah I hear that, goodnight beautiful" he said and I felt my cheeks go red, I'm guessing he still had a slight effect on me nd I'm also guessing he clocked as his smile turned into a light laugh. "Don't get gassed"
"Shutup, night" I whined and opened the door and just as I was about to step out he pulled my arm back and placed his soft lips onto mine. I was shocked at first so I froze until he turned me fully around and cupped my cheek with his hand, pulling me closer to him. I kissed him back, deeply and his tounge tried to make its way into my mouth and I came back to reality. I leaned back and lightly pushed on his chest. He sat back up into his seat and just smiled looking at nothing as did I, watching him smile. "Night" I repeated quietly as I got out his car quickly and went inside.
