Water, earth, fire, air. Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then everything changed when the fire nation attacked. Only the avatar, master of all four elements could stop them. But when the world needed him most, he vanished. Well, that's not exactly my story, but it is pretty damn close.

"Young Physics Undergrad from Columbia University - Addison "Andie" Langdon - was recently identified as the cause for the explosion last week in the chemistry lab during her physics class. We are now going to switch down to Heather Smith who is down at the scene." CNN host speaks before the screen switched to another as she stands right outside of the place I once called school.

Her hair hardly moved due to the amount of hairspray keeping her blonde hair in place. She looked like some kind of plastic as she adjusted her bright green blazer. For some reason, she reminded me of the woman from the first Scream movie. You know that bitch who was writing the book on the girl's mother?

"It is very tense here down on the scene, and it has not gone away, and probably won't until justice is served. The police ask students, teachers, and civilians to stay out of the buildings, and wait by the streets. Even though we know the explosion was not from a bomb, but a human. They believe that it could have been done with future plans of bombs being planted. As we wait here in front of the University, I have asked one of the teachers who were in the building when this happened. Professor Elliot what kind of student was Ms. Langdon and what do you think caused this?" The camera shifted so the plump, balding man with more salt than pepper hair came into frame. Just by seeing him made a shiver run down my spine as the familiar smell of the sulfur gas and the water flowing in the room, the flames rising.

"She was a lovely student, always handed everything in on time, was on top of her grades. I'm just as confused as everyone else is. But she did cause several damages and half of the class is suffering from injuries for her carelessness. I'm just as confused why she ran off, and why she did not get hurt." He spoke with his dumbass monotone voice coming from the speaking of the small black device which was on a table too big for the television.

I turned off the device making the screen go back, and set down the remote. I plopped back down on the bed letting out a sigh as my eyes trailed the popcorn ceiling above me. How was this my life? One second I was a normal university student who's only worries were student debt. Now I have to worry about running from the cops? Jesus Christ, man.

I had just settled into my dorm room, shoving pieces of clothing into my bag and small objects that I knew I couldn't go without. I dressed in a flannel and put a denim jacket over top. I flipped up my hoodie and exchanged my contacts for my prescription glasses. I ran to the door, swinging it open to show two people who looked like feds.

"How can I help you, officers?" I asked with a small smile, hoping they weren't after me from the happenings earlier.

"Cuff her." The one spoke as the other nodded. The second officer took my two arms and forced them behind my back. The cuffs were tightened a little too tight - to the point where it was cutting into my skin.

"Do I not get to hear my rights?" I asked, looking up at the first officer.

"You have no rights, you now belong to HYDRA." He smirked as the first officer pushed me down the halls. We had made our way to a black van where they forced me into. The silence was heavy. So many emotions flooded through me. I had no clue what a HYDRA was, other than the mythological creature in ancient Greece. My hands were shaking. The guys in the back of the van with me had guns in their hands and I hated to say it, but I was petrified.

Everything had happened so fast. Being shoved in the van, being stared down. But we could have only been in there for a few minutes. But suddenly the van came to a holt. My cuffs snapped in half and shattered behind me. The guns in their hands grew hot as they dropped them to the floor. Then the metal from the van started to bend and hold them back to the wall, small pieces grew out and wrapped around them tightly. I had no clue what was happening, but I looked down at my hands which seemed to have absorbed the metal from the cuffs. My hands were laced with the steel. It was just like the lab all over again. I had to get out of here. I had to get back to my car. I picked up my bag from the holder in the trunk of the van and shot open the door, making a run for it.

I shouldn't be letting this get to my head. It happened a week ago. It slowly has been dying down so hopefully it won't be talked about for much longer. Why did I run off that day? I was so stupid and scared. I honestly didn't know how to react. I sighed as I stood up and walked across the motel room, looking down at the pamphlet on an old, dark wood, marked up table by the window. I sat down in the chair with a creak as I tried to find a diner on the list of restaurants. This was my life, becoming a nobody, hiding in plain sight. I scanned the list as I managed to find nothing of my own interest. But, I could go to a city. I just had to make sure I didn't make myself too obvious. Don't get close to anyone, don't make a scene.
