I woke up to the soft hum of familiar music. I slowly felt my body awaking myself back to consciousness.
Suddenly, I became aware of how there was air in my lungs, the feeling of warmth in my toes, my heart was beating. And as my eyes opened, I winced from the light in the room. I wiggled the fingers on both of my hands.
I felt a wave of comfort knowing I was okay. I felt a sudden wave of comfort knowing I was alive. I was still here. I wasn't somewhere floating around in the after life.
What would have happened if Tony found out that he killed me? What about Vision? Surely my hand wasn't in a good condition what so ever. How would he feel? Could he feel? He was an android. But was he capable of feeling humane emotions?

I focused more on where I was. As I payed more attention, I recognized what the familiar hum was.
Little darling, the smiles returning to their faces.
Here comes the sun, by the Beetles. I tried to turn in my hospital bed, but I felt paralyzed. I felt as if I couldn't move. My eyes began to wonder around the room I was in, recognizing it was a hospital.
But at the same time it looked too casual to be a hospital room. It was still too comfortable to be a fancy clinic that Stark possibly would bring me to.
The walls were painted beige, the furniture was made of deep coloured wood and black leather. It made it look quite sleek and sophisticated as I laid in the middle with a white sheet cover over my body.
Also, not to mention - we weren't exactly on the best of terms with Tony Stark last I checked.
"How long have I been out?" I asked, feeling a separate presence in the room. As I felt like I couldn't turn my head due to tiredness - I was not able to tell.
"Only a couple of hours." I was expected to hear from a nurse, but instead was met with a familiar voice.
The one of Steve Rogers, I have to say I wasn't too shocked. I forced myself to look over to the chair. It was sat beside my hospital bed, watching him set down his book.
"Where are we?" I wondered, furrowing my brows. My eyes then focused on his features which were tired and sunken in.
His eye was swollen from a black eye and he was all beaten up. He was still in his uniform from the earlier fight. "And why haven't you changed?"
"T'Challa's palace, we're in Wakanda, Andie." That made me a little more confused, and he obviously could read it on my features.
"He had the health care that you and Bucky both needed, it was offered. He was wanting to help after he followed us to Siberia. He also promised he would keep it form Stark." I nodded softly, taking everything in.
This was all so new. The man who was once against us, who wanted Steve's best friend dead. He wanted to help us, nurse us back to health.
He wanted to give us a place to stay. His country was against the United Nations and any kind of NATO rules. He wasn't deemed an Avenger. So, no laws were being broken.
"How's the new hand?" He asked me, his eyes softening as he let out a distressed sigh.
"New hand?" I asked, looking down as I lifted both of my hands. The one looked normal, just a few cuts and scrapes from the earlier fight. But the other one of them was black. It was a form of metal but was shaped like a regular limb.
It had silver details in little cracks. It was a look alike to Bucky's despite the shade change. But it felt to me like it was my normal hand. It felt no different. It felt comfortable. But, just then all the memories came back to me, just like a tidal wave.
