"But it's a trick." Clint said as he was spinning a drum stick as we had gotten on a discussion about Thor's hammer. But it kind of felt like it was getting no where as the tipsy avengers were questioning the myth of the tool he carried.

"No, no, it's much more than that." Thor shook his head.

"Ah, whosoever be he worthy shall haveth the power." Clint mocked as people laughed at him. "Whatever, man! It's a tick."

"Please, be my guest." Thor welcomed the idea of Clint testing the hammer that was propped up on the coffee table. "Come on."

"Really?" Clint asked with an amusing tone that almost came across as childish.

"Yeah." Tony egged him on.

"This is gonna be beautiful." Rhodes spoke.

"Clint, you've had a tough week." Tony teased the agent. "We won't hold it against you if you can't get it up."

"You know I've seen this before, right?" Clint said as he wrapped his hand around the handle. He let out a small grunt as he couldn't lift it, putting all his energy into it. "I still don't know how you do it!" Clint laughed.

"Smell the silent judgement?" Tony laughed.

"Step right up, Stark." I raised a brow as I sipped from my cola can.

"Okay." Maria chuckled as Tony stood up, clearing his throat.

"Never one to shrink from an honest challenge." Tony boasted.

"Get after it." Clint sat back down.

"It's physics." Tony stated.

"It's not physics." I muttered to Steve who was seated beside me, leaning in a bit.

"Right, so, if I lift it, I then rule Asgard?" Tony asked.

"Yes, of course." Thor nodded.

"I will be reinstituting prima nocta." Tony muttered. The man lifted up but kept a straight face while doing so. When he didn't accomplish something he then muttered: "I'll be right back."

When he returned he had his Iron Man glove on from the suit. Whirring and grunting was the only sound that came from Tony.

"Are you even pulling?" Rhodey asked as he soon joined in with the War Machine glove.

"Are you on my team?" Tony asked.

"Just represent. Pull."

"All right, let's go." When nothing came of it, Tony looked to me. "I challenge you, young Airbender."

"Oh, Stark." I sighed teasingly as a small playful smirk rested on my lips. "At least I realize what I'm up against."

"Ooh, burn." Clint piped up. I walked over to the hammer and wrapped my hand around the handle before lifting up. Not budging. I used the air to try and lift it up, then the metal itself, but I just couldn't get a grip on it.

I guess I was pushing myself too hard as the glass from the table shattered which caused the hammer to drop to the ground.

"Was that worth something, say ten points?" Clint asked.

"Yup, I'm done. Sorry Tony." I spoke shyly. "Banner, you're up." The doctor gave his best effort as he grunted, and even pretended to hulk out, leaving people a little unimpressed.

"Huh?" He asked before returning to the spot beside Natasha.

"Your turn, Soldier." I patted Steve's knee. The man smiled at me before standing up excitedly.
