"Hello?" I asked half asleep, desperate to stop my phone from ringing. My voice was raspy from fatigue as I had gone to bed only 6 hours prior to the call.

I sat up against my headboard, rubbing my eyes, trying to get the sleep out. I pushed my hair back with my available hand, wanting the long brown locks out of my face.

"I need you to collect Steve Rogers for me, we have another mission." Nick Fury's voice rang out. "Meet at the triskelion."

"Why didn't you call in Natasha?" I complained to the director. "It's seven a.m., Fury. I need my ten hours."

"Because you are in Washington, and she is on a much needed vacation. Plus you are better at computers. Keep that part between us."

"Fine." I groaned into the phone before hanging up and getting out of bed. I walked into the kitchen, starting the coffee maker before heading into the bathroom, and starting my shower.

I texted Steve as I was just up the road from where Nick send the tracker for. I chuckled at the address. Independence Avenue. He was at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. How much more american can he get? I pulled up to the curb with a small smile on my face.

"Hiya boys." I waved to the super soldier and his friend. "Look at you Steve, making friends. You're so grown up!" I mock congratulated him.

"Hilarious." Steve rolled his eyes with his little smile plastered on his face.

"I know I am, don't rub it in." I unlocked the door for him, as he made his way over to my tiny car.

"How you doing?" His friend asked. He had a smile on his face that kind of reminded me of Tony, a little flirty smile. His dark eyes filled with interest as a girl was picking up the rock of a man who was trying to find his way back in the world

"Good and you?" I asked the dark skinned man.

"Pretty awesome." He smiled, walking over to the car.

"I'd love to chat, but we gotta go." I apologized to the man. "This fossil can't run everywhere." I teased.

"No he can't."

"Who was that?" I asked Steve as we drove off.

"Sam Wilson, retired soldier." Steve explained, his comment making me laugh. "What?" He smiled over to me, I guess smiling is contagious.

"Nothing, you just attract quite the crowd." I looking over to him before returning my eyes to the busy road.

"Try making friends as a war veteran who is 95 years old." Steve teased with a mock defensive tone in his voice.

"Steve." I smirked, peeking over at him. "I blew up a college campus, and I can control the elements - just like an anime character." I chuckled lightly at my own words. "I guess we both attract a certain type of crowd."

"Target is a mobile satellite launch platform, the Lemurian Star." Rumlow explained as we all flew across the Indian Ocean, pointing at a screen with the digital blue print of the boat. "They were sending up their last payload when pirates took them, ninety three minutes ago."

"Any demands?" Steve asked as he adjusted his uniform.

"Billion and a half."

"Why so steep?" Steve wondered.

"Because it's S.H.I.E.L.D.'s." Rumlow stated flatly, his raspy voice filling the deck.

"So it's not off course. It's trespassing." Steve sighed, looking down at me, frustrated.
