Steve and I stood out by the window which overlooked the jungles of Wakanda. The view was patterned with a forest full of beautiful trees. Peaceful. That's the word to describe it, yet it was an understatement.

His left hand held onto my right one as I leaned my head down onto his shoulder. He placed a kiss onto my brown locks which made the butterflies fill my stomach. I looked up when I heard someone join us in the room. My eyes seeing the King himself.

"Thank you for this." Steve was the first to speak, not tearing his eyes from the view.

"Your friend and my father...they were both victims." He spoke looking from us, then out to the jungle as well. "If I can help one of them find peace..." He trailed off, getting the idea across.

"You know, if the others find out that he is here, they will come after him. We'll get hurt protecting him. They will get hurt." I explained to the king, looking over to him.

He nodded in understanding, as I meant his people. His eyes trailed back over, meeting mine for a second.

"Let them try." He looked back out over the jungle. His comment leaving a small smile on my face. I was happy that we found somewhere where Bucky could be kept out of harms way, somewhere where he could rest. Somewhere where he didn't have to run.

"Hey, Steve." I spoke up, pausing the episode of Sherlock we were watching. His eyes tore themselves from the screen.

His blue eyes meeting my clear ones. His eye brows furrowed as I sat up to face him, pulling myself out of his arms. "We should probably go get the others."

It had been a week since I had woken up. It had been too long for me to be without them. I had been occupying myself with moping over Bucky being frozen again, and binge watching Sherlock.

Everyday I would pass by Bucky's holding room and I would talk. I knew he most likely couldn't hear me. But I did. I told him what was happening - which wasn't much. But I told him about my idea to rescue the others.

There hasn't been much going on around here at the moment. So, I've been doing a lot of thinking. It was hard for me to sit down. I healed up pretty fast. So without Steve being around, I quickly escaped my wheel chair.

I hated it.

I know the doctors wanted me in one for a little while so I wouldn't tear at the wound. I get where they are coming from. But I couldn't do it. So I quickly got myself onto my feet, which worried Steve.

"I was thinking the same." Steve agreed, nodding his head as I ran a hand through his blonde hair. "It's been pretty quiet without them around."

"That's why I want to come along."

"Are you sure you want to come?" He asked, his eyes beginning to pool with concern. "You shouldn't push yourself, plus this could be hard on you. I think you should stay and rest."

"I'm perfectly healed, now." I chuckled at his papa bear thoughts. I leaned up and pressed a kiss to his soft lips. "Plus, it will give me time to practice out in the field with his new attachment." I smirked, motioning to my prosthetic. I twisted my metal fingers and a small, warm flame danced on top.

"Let's do it." He smiled with anticipation, his eyes glowing.

We landed the helicopter on the platform as I finished typing into my computer. I quickly reviewed over the window, making sure I had everything right.

Just then a pop up showed on the screen in red lettering. I looked over to Steve as he finished suiting up.

"Systems are hacked." I said proud in my own work. "The power is officially down, and same with the generator. And Ross is locked in his office, the lock is sealed." I saved the coding and closing my laptop. "No way in or out unless I say so."
