I walked into the centre of Central Park where I watched Bruce Banner put the Tesseract into a safe case. I knew it was going somewhere safe. But I also knew that this whole situation meant there was more out there that we wouldn't know about.
If something that powerful destroyed a city, what more would there be? Was there something out there that was all powerful that could destroy all of planet Earth as we knew it?
Now that those creatures knew what we could do, what was yet to come? What power would come of this? And would anyone steal the Tesseract again?
"What are you thinking about?" Steve asked me, cutting through my thoughts, bringing me back to reality.
"Nothing much, just about space and what we once knew it as." I chuckled, my eyes still in thought over the situation . "It always seemed so simple to me, so basic. But now everything has changed. It's all so much more complex."
"When I was back in the forties, space was something we thought was filled with the sun, the moon, and stars. So knowing that our universe is filled with this much and more..." Steve trailed off.
"How are you doing by the way?" I asked the Captain who was changed out of his suit and into normal day clothes. A deep brown jacket covered his plaid button up.
His khaki pants hugged his hips and his dark shoes matched his jacket. He ran a hand through his hair, eyes meeting mine. "I mean with catching up with the times."
"I'm getting there, slowly though." He nodded.
"Come over to my place tonight." I stated bluntly.
"Pardon?" He asked, furrowing his brows as his light blue eyes widened ever so slightly.
"Tonight, come on over. I'll help you catch up. Music, television, any questions you may have about the modern day norm, I'll answer." I explained more into depth of my idea, shedding a small smile. "I'll even order pizza." .
"That sounds fantastic." He nodded. Steve and I walked over to Thor, saying our goodbyes before the god took off in a flash with his brother who was in a muzzle and cuffs.
"It was nice getting to know you all, be sure to visit whenever you like, my door is always open." I smiled to the group. "But I have to go unpack and finish moving in, I have company tonight." I winked to Steve.
"Well, I'll be damned, Capsicle and Aang." Tony smirked at me.
"I'll rephrase that. My door is open to everyone except Tony." I teased.
"Hey!" Tony exclaimed as I walked back to my chevy spark. I hopped in the small two door, saluting to the others before driving off.

I sat down on my couch in the apartment with a glass of wine in my hand before I set it down on the mahogany coffee table.
I pulled out my cell phone and opened up twitter. But, when a searing pain cut through my abdomen I dropped it to the cushion of the couch.
"Fuck." I muttered under my breath as another wave cut in. This wasn't like any other cramp I've ever had. I picked up my phone and dialled the closest contact to me.
"Hello?" A voice rang out.
"Steve." I muttered, clutching my stomach region.
"Andie, are you okay?" He became alert and it sure was noticeable.
"Steve, I think I need to go to the hospital." I mumbled, pulling my knees up to my chest.
"I'm on my way." He spoke as I heard a door close and keys jingling though the phone. "Talk me through it."
