An agent just so happened to open the door we were just about to fire through and Sam aimed his gun and the guy who was in shock.

"Excuse us." Steve said as he walked past the agent. I have to admit, I like his "old" uniform from back in the days. I had a feeling he wore it as a tactic to try and trace Bucky's memories, hoping to bring something back. The agent put his arms up in surrender as we walked into the room past him. "Attention all S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. This is Steve Rogers." He spoke into the microphone which echoed over the PA system.

"You've heard a lot about me and Agent Langdon over the last few days." He looked over to me and I looked back with a small nod of comfort. "Some of you were even ordered to hunt us down. But I think it's time you know the truth." He paused for a brief second. "S.H.I.E.L.D. is not what we thought it was. It's been taken over by HYDRA. Alexander Pierce is their leader. The S.T.R.I.K.E. and Insight crew are HYDRA as well. I don't know how many more, but I know they're in the building. They could be standing right next to you. They almost have what they want. Absolute control. They shot Nick Fury. And it wont end there. If you launch those helicarriers today, HYDRA will be able to kill anyone that stands in their way. Unless we stop them. I know I'm asking a lot. But the price of freedom is high. It always has been. And it's a price I'm willing to pay. And if I'm the only one, then so be it. But I'm willing to bet I'm not."

"Did you write that down first, or was it off the top of your head?" Sam asked as Steve stepped away from the microphone.

~~~
"They're initiating launch." Maria exclaimed over the earpieces as the three of us ran out into the platform side by side.
"Hey, Cap, how do we know the good guys from the bad guys?" Sam asked Steve, looking over.
"If they're shooting at you, they're bad." Steve said simply before we split up. Sam flew off the roof as Steve jumped down to the helicarrier that was a floor lower. I used the air around me to fly me to the third helicarrier.
I sucked in a breath as guards began to turn. As I let out the breath I set the whole top story in flames without raising a hand. Well, I guess training really does come in handy. I walked past the burning ex-agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. while I made my way down the steps.
"Hey, Cap. I found those bad guys you were talking about!" Sam exclaimed as I kept quiet.
"You okay?" Steve wondered.
"I'm not dead, yet." I looked up to see Sam being shot at.
"Andie, your helicarrier is up in flames, are you okay?" Steve's voice called out to me.
"Let's hope." I muttered as I flicked my wrist, putting out the flames with a light body of water I morphed from a cloud in the sky.
"Falcon, status?" Maria asked into the speaker.
"Engaging." Sam replied as I heard distant gun shots. "All right, Cap. I'm in." Sam spoke after a minute.
"Eight minutes, Cap." Maria spoke up once more. I rounded a corner and picked up a gun from one of the burning soldiers.
"Working on it." I shot one bullet at each guard, knocking them all down. Damn. Never knew I could do that. I ran down onto the bridge, sliding in the cartridge.
"Alpha lock." I pressed the button on the earpiece.
"Falcon, where are you now?" Maria asked.
"I had to take a detour." He explained as I could hear the wind moving around him. "I'm in." He spoke within a few seconds. "Bravo lock."
