"All right, we are all clear here." Clint spoke out through the earpieces as I joined him and Wanda on the street. Chaos surround surrounded us from left to right.

"We are very not clear!" Steve exclaimed as a response through the device.

"Where are you?" I asked out.

"West side!"

"I'm on my way!" I ran through the streets, leaving their sides, picking out bots and ripping them apart. Using the winds to crash two against each other using the bots as weapons. I spread a gust of flames in the direction of maybe five bots, melting them to nothing.

I ran out to the bridge and somehow Steve and I ended up back to back. I took a deep breath before Steve started throwing punches and kicks while I moved the air and rocks around in different ways.

Bots combusting as Steve and I were circling. Each of us taking care of them, tens at a time. Him throwing them off while I finished them.

~~~
"The next wave will hit any minute." I mentioned to Steve as him and I escorted people away from the danger.
"What do you got, Stark?" Steve asked over the comm.
"Nothing great." He spoke up, a pause as he shot out a couple of blasts. "Maybe a way to blow up the city."
"That's not an option, Tony." I exclaimed as I shook my head. Screams filled the streets making me realize just how much we needed to prioritize these people's lives over ours. Everything seemed like it was a blur, like a daze. Man how I wish this wasn't happening right now.
"But that'll keep it from impacting the surface." He piped up again. "If you guys can get it clear."
"I asked for a solution, not an escape plan." Steve cut him off.
"Impact radius is getting bigger every second. We're gonna have to make a choice." Tony mentioned to us.
"Cap, these people are going no where." Natasha piped up. "If Stark finds a way to blow this rock..."
"Not until everyone's safe." Steve shook his head as him and I made our way back into the street.
"Everyone up here versus everyone down there? There's no math there." Natasha stated.
"I'm not leaving this rock with one civilian on it." Steve shook his head.
"I didn't say we should leave." Steve went silent at her words. "There's worse ways to go."
"On the bright side, the view is nice." I mentioned, motioning out to the clouds and the view of cities below us. It was pretty peaceful despite what was happening us here.
~~~

"I'm glad you like the view, Langdon. It's about to get better." The voice of none other than Nick Fury rang out.

"How do you always know when to save the day?" I chuckled at the man's voice.

"Call it a hunch." A large helicarrier flew up past the ground level on the flying city. The one that held us back when Loki's fear reigned on New York.

"Oh my god." I mumbled.

"Nice right? Pulled her out of mothballs with a couple of old friends. She's dusty, but she'll do." I shook my head, a smile on my face.

"Fury, you son of a bitch." Steve cursed.

"Steve!" I nudged him in the chest with my elbow, playfully. "Language." He looked down to me with a smile before pulling me in close, kissing me on the top of my head.

I watched as the lifeboat compartments opened up and made their way over to the sides of the floating city. "Alright kids, change of plans!" I called out over the commune action devices, slipping from Steve's grasp. "Lead people out to the edges, we have rescue pods on the way!" I pressed into my ear piece.

"This is S.H.I.E.L.D.?" Pietro asked, joining our sides.

"This is what S.H.I.E.L.D. is supposed to be." Steve corrected, looking over to the twin.

"This is not so bad." He smiled.

"Alright guys, let's load them up!" I let out a small chuckle, running to the buildings where we stuck civilians.

~~~
"I got about fifty to a hundred more coming in after this group." Steve told a female employee of S.H.I.E.L.D. who walked out as I lead civilians to the pods. As another one landed I looked over to Steve.
"This one is going to be filled, I'm gonna separate them!" I called out.
"Be safe!" He called back with a slight desperate tone.
"If I have to." I winked before leading the crowd to the next pod to the left. Crowds of people fled the streets as they made their way to the pods.
Mothers and fathers holding onto their families and desperately trying to stick together through the crowd.
"Avengers, time to work for a living!" Tony called out.
"Centre?" I called out to Steve.
"Centre!" He responded. I ran through the streets, destroying a flood of bots before making it to the core.
~~~

"Romanoff. You and Banner better not be playing hide the zucchini." Tony called out making me cringe a little.

"Tony!" I scolded, mildly disgusted from his comment.

"Relax shell-head." Natasha piped up. "Not all of us can fly." I watched as she drove a truck through the streets, running over bots. "What's the drill?" She asked as she exited the truck and joined us at the core.

"This is the drill." Tony answered, pointing at the machine in the middle. "If Ultron gets a hand on the core, we lose." As Bruce made his way in Ultron flew down, a few meters away from the group.

"Is that the best you can do?" Thor shouted out at the android. Ultron raised a hand, the bots all charging towards us.

"You had to ask." Steve sighed.
"This is the best I can do." Ultron sneered. We all got ready, each one of us standing in a circle, facing out to protect the core from Ultron. "This is exactly what I wanted. All of you against all of me. How can you possibly hope to stop me?"

"Well, like the old man said...Together." Tony said, probably smirking under his helmet. We all readied for impact as we stood tall. Ready for what was about to come at us. The Hulk let out a powerful roar while I rounded balls of flames in my hands. Shooting out beams of flames, I melted many in my train of vision.

~~~
"Steve can I ask you to get your shield out?" I asked. He propped it in his arms as I shot out another beam of fire, him moving it so it stopped hundreds in our direction.
Everything felt as if it was going ten times slower while I tore bots into pieces, melting them to a puddle, blasting them with water so they rusted. I used all four elements against them. I put in everything I could muster.
Exhaustion? Never heard of her. Honestly, I felt great. Ouch. Okay, well that didn't feel great. Thanks to the special bot that clogged me in the gut.
I tore it apart using the minerals as I used the pieces against the others. Okay well maybe I've heard of exhaustion. Bots flew all around as my hands were just moving on their own at this point. To be honest this was getting out a lot of my own frustrations.
(A/N: Another shorter chapter, but I wanted to get this part up before the next, as it deserved it's own chapter. Hope y'all are enjoying !! Make sure to vote and comment!!)
