Gazzy screams in anger. The ten year-old had watched his right-hand man get his wings torn from him by a Flyboy. Clenching his fists, he flies to the ground and into the house, climbing up the stairs to set off the last bomb that he and Iggy had made together.
He was going to end this. He was going to do this for Max, Jesse, and Iggy. He was going do this for Fang, Nudge, Total, and his little sister, Angel.
The way he and Iggy made the bomb, it wasn't supposed to be used unless it was the final solution. A bomb so powerful that it would demolish anything within a fifty-mile distance.
He sends a thought to Angel, telling her to alert the others. For some reason, his thoughts feel empty.
Gazzy is just about to press the button just as he hears growl and heavy footsteps coming up the stairs.
