Seven years later...

And seven years later, I arise from the dead, no memory of the tragedies before.

For four months and seven days, I spread my wings, traveling in search for these people in memory. I really have no idea who they are, I just know that they are like me. Kids with wings, or rather adults now, who grew up with me in a horrible place that I just can't put my finger on.

I only stop for small bites to eat and episodes of rest, until I fly to an island off the coast if Hawaii where the sun shines bright and the palm trees blow in the wind.

Landing on the white beach sand, I almost cry as the warm blue waters surround the back of my feet. Beginning to move my feet toward, I head through the winds, my wings retruding back into my skin, apart of my new power once I have been reborn.

Faster and faster, I runt through the forest if trees, stepping over fallen leaves, and barely just missing a snake pit filled with tropical snakes.

I don't stop until I have reached a large house, in the shape of an 'E' as if it was lying flat on it's belly. The house is made out of palm trees, and I marvel as I see it that they have even made a tiki bar filled with tons of island food for that bird people we are.

Slowly, I swoop up to the balcony, hesitating before I knock on the red painted door.

"I got it!" a little girl's voice shouts from inside, and immediately the door opens to reveal a little girl with sandy blonde hair and dark brown eyes. She smiles at me with bright white teeth, and I smile back happy to know that he is alive.

Just as I think of him, he comes running towards me, holding me tight in his warm embrace, his deep olive-skinned arms wrapping around my creamy ones. "You're alive!" Fang says as Max joins us too, kissing me a big kiss on my forehead.

The others surround us, Nudge, Gazzy, Total, Iggy, and even the teenager who was once a small little girl who helped bring me to the light.

Everyone is now older now. All if them taller than I last seen them, and stronger cheekbones it longer hair. Or more hair on their chins for some. Total flies into my arms once both Fang and. max have let me go, his black hair now spotted with little white ones.

"Hi, everyone." I grin, letting the memories come flowing back to me all at once.

The little girl that must be by no doubt, Fang and Max's child, waves at me, her own wings lifting her up in the air so that she is level with my six foot height. "Hi, you must be my auntie, Jesse!" she says. "My name is Phoenix."

I smile, wrapoing her in a tighr hug while Total flies back into Nudge's arms. "Hi, Phoenix. That is a beautiful name." I smile, planting a kiss on her cheek.
