chapter 20

Jammie p.o.v
Today roc told me he was gonna take me out because we havent had any good boyfriend girlfriend time. So I got up extra early and took a nice long shower.I put my hair in a clip and put on my tupac shirt my black shorts and some studs .(picture on left).
I come down stairs at 12 and see roc on the couch watching a basketball game.
"How I look?" I say while spinning around and flipping my hair.
"Dang fine"roc says walkin up to me and kissing me.
"Thanks" I say blushing.
"So you ready?"
"Sure"
We say bye to aunt deena and prince and get in the car.
"So what we doin today?"
"You will see just wait"
So in about 20 minutes we arrive at this pancake house.
"Hungry?"roc says smiling at me.
"I can always eat"
We go inside and slide into a booth. Roc brings up small talk while we wait to order.
"May I take your order?"
"I will take regular pancakes with a side of eggs" I say while giving him my menu.
"I will have just chocolate chip pancakes with bacon"roc says.
"Okay ill get that on for you. But did you come from heaven cuz yoy look like a angel."The waiter says while winking at me.
That was the lamest line ive ever heard.Seriously.
"Bruh she has a man so bye"roc says while standing up with his fist balled.
Now people are starring at us.Good job roc.
I pull rocs hand and tell him to sit down.The waiter just walks away.So roc slowly sits.
"Whats wrong with you"
"Look im not trying to have another ray situation. You be makin thesse boys get obsessed!"
I give a soft laugh and roc smiles at me. A different waiter comes back with our food.
We eat in silence smilling at eachother occasionally.I couldn't finish my food so i get a to go box.We leave the place.I thought we were going home but were going the opposite way.
"Roc the house is the other way"
"I know we gonna drop by my old friends house."
"Oh okay"
It takes about 10 minutes to get to his friends place.There are alot of cars in the driveway and there almost taking up the whole block.The house is big but is in a bad neighborhood.Roc leads me in while holding my hand.When we walk in there is smoke everywhere.I look around and see people either drinking,smoking,or making out.
"Roc I don't like it here"
"Its okay Jammie I'm here"
I continue to follow him till we stop and he taps on this guys back and the guy goes crazy calling thesse boys over.They all start hug and do a little handshake.Then they stop and look at me.
"Aye guys this my baby girl Jammie"roc says all happily.
I smile.
"Mm Jammie"one of the boys say while bitting there lip.
"Aye bruh she all mine leave her alone"roc says.
Then he grabs me again and kisses me. I hear all the other guys groan and turn away
After were done roc goes an sits drinking with his friends.Leaving me out of place.I start to get hungry so I go back outside and see its dark.Dang how long we been here? I open the door and get in the passengers seat eating my cold pancakes.Then I see this boy with a hoodie come up to the car tapping on the window.Thirsty boys.I roll down my window.
"What?"I say with a attitude.
He then reaches in the car unlocks the door and pulls me out.I try and grab something to keep him from taking me away. But he is way stronger than me. I start to scream in hopes of roc to hear me.
"Roc!"I scream
"Get off me"
"Roc!!Someone help me"
Then the guy suddenly stops pulling me.I look at him and see him fall forward into the car on my lap..I see a knife coming out from his back with blood everywhere.Then that boy..the same boy who saved me from Cindy and who was talking to my dad looks at me.I just stare at him in disbelief. As usual he takes off again.
I push the guy off my lap and get out the car and see if I can find him. Suddenly someone touches me and I jump.
"Baby its just me what happened out here"
I start to cry hard in rocs chest.While he holds me.
"Roc.This guy tried to take me.And that boy the one who saved me and was talking to my dad saved me again."I say crying.
"How did he find us"Roc says in kind of a whisper.
"I don't know"I scream. Being much louder than him.
"Im sorry for bringing you here and letting you be here alone. Gosh..this was suppose to be a great date for us."
"Its okay" I say looking at him.
He wipes my tears and kisses my forehead.
"Well come on we need to go before were charged with murder."
We head home and all I can think is.
I thought this was over.Who is this guy?Is ray coming back for me?Why cant I be normal?
