She gets led to this unusual boy in the woods. She soon moves in with him and has to put on a charade that turns to real life soon. Her life is flipped and the only thing she knows to do is to run. 5 years later she comes face to face from the problems she ran from. Jammie's pov

I wake up on the couch with my whole body aching. It feels like I just got shot In every part of my body. Im sore every place I can think of. I slowly sit up groaning in pain. I look to my right and see Kevin just staring at me. Just like ray did that one night when I was planning on escaping. But today I'm not planning on escaping.

"Kevin why are you just starting at me . Where you watching me sleep?"

"Yeah"

"Why?!"

"Your just so beautiful.

I scoff. What is he talking about he ruined my face. He got the nerve to call me beautiful.

"Im serious"

"Whatever"

I get up and see french toast, bacon, sausage links, grits, toast, eggs, and a cup of milk on a tray.

"You made this" I say turning around facing Kevin.

"Yup"

I sit at the table and start to eat my breakfast.

"Did you take your medicine yet" I say with food in my mouth.

He turns to me sharply and stares at me.

"Dont talk with food in your mouth"

"Answer the question"

He gets up from the couch and walks into the kitchen in front on me leaning on the table. The sun beats on his face from the open window.

"Why does it matter"

What he mean! Why?

I get out my chair and back away from him. " Because I cant be with you unless you take it"

"Jammie just sit down"

"No take the medicine"

He looks at me angrily. Im guessing he hasnt taken the medicene. I walk to the cabinet and take out some pills that have his name on it. I undo the lid and pour one in my hand. He comes up to me and slaps all the pills out of my hand and they all fall to the floor.

"Kevin why would you do that" I scream.

He slaps me less harder than yesterday but it still hurts. Im not crying anymore. I mean I'm gonna get hurt again so minus well fight back. Im tired of being a crying baby who just lets guys beat me down. I slap him right back with all the strength I have. He looks back up at me with those same eyes from yesterday.

He grabs my hair again and drags me up the steps.When where finally upstairs he lets me go I kick him in the place where guys dont wanna be kicked. He leans over in pain but gets up and pushes me down the stairs. Every step I hit I feel like a nail is going into me. I scream so loud in pain. Where is Hazel? When I finnaly stop falling I hear him rushing downstairs to me. I try to crawl away from him as fast as I can towards the house phone. On the coffe table. I finnaly grab it and turn around to see Kevin almost to me. I dial roc's number so fast and hear him answer with a hello.
