Avery's POV

We all crammed into the car. Louis was surfing for a good radio station until he crossed a special song.

"Wait go back!" I said to him

He went back to the song and it was

'Say something' by a Great big world and Christiana Aguilera.

I honestly loved this song so much because it reminded me of my mom. Yeah it was really sad but I don't know it was just something about it.

I looked down at my locket that my mom had given me before she died. I closed my eyes and started to sing along to the song.

At this point I felt a silent tear fall down my face

I opened my eyes and they met Claire's immediately and she looked at me with sorrow in her eyes but she just nodded.

I could feel everyone looking at me but I just looked at the floor.

The rest of the car ride was silent but luckily it wasn't that long.

Harry parked the car and we all stepped out. Claire walked over to me and put a hand on my shoulder.

"You okay kiddo?" She asked me.

Ugh she always calls me that but im only 2 months younger than her.

"Yeah, and Kiddo?.. seriously"

She just smirked at me, I rolled my eyes at her. We got inside and took our seats. The boys decided to pick a booth. Thankfully it was one of those big booths that go in a half circle or we would've all been squished. Harry and I sat in the middle with Claire, Niall and Louis on my side and Liam and Zayn on on Harrys right side.

Our waiter came to get out orders and he winked at me. I guess Harry noticed I felt uncomfortable because he glared at the waiter then put his arm around me. The waiter then looked away grabbed our menus and left. I turned to Harry and said,

"Thanks" my cheeks obviously flushing from having his arm around me.

"No problem" he said with a smile that revealed his adorable dimples. I just love his smile it's so perfect I could just stare at it all day.

"Avery? hello.. guys?" Niall said waving his hand in front of my face.

"uhh ya?" I said with and embarrassed look on my face.

"we kinda lost you guys for a second there" niall said.

"They were just admiring each other niall calm down" Louis said with a smirk on his face. Harry glared at him and everyone else laughed. I looked over and noticed Harrys arm was still around me.

I never want it to move I feel so safe and comfortable when I'm around him. What am I saying? I can't like harry. I don't like him. He's just a friend that's all. Later on a waiter came back with our food this time it was a different guy, but he didn't wink, thank god.

We all finished eating and Liam called the waiter. We all bickered about who was paying and Harry insisted he pay. I wasn't gonna let him pay everything so I put some money in. When we got home I was a little tired for some reason so I went up to my room and took a nap.
