When I wake up, there was soft cooing and I realized that Lani wasn't in the bed with me. I look over and see Lani with Danielle, feeding her, but not with a bottle. Lani is breast feeding her.

"Hey," I said quietly, sitting up. "I thought you were going to bottle feed her?"

Lani looks up at me. "The bottle you gave her earlier she threw up. I talked to the nurse and a doctor. They said that because she is so small it best to breast feed her."

I nodded. "Oh. Will you have to do it for long?" I asked her, walking over to her and kissing her forehead.

"I'll have to do it until she doesn't take bottles anymore." She tells me.

I nodded my head in understanding and smiled. "Are you okay with that?" I ask her.

"Yeah, I'd rather keep my little girl happy."

I smiled. "She's going to be a mummy's girl for sure," I murmur, kissing her cheek.

"Probably." Lani smiles. She lifted her head and kissed me. "I love you, Owen."

"I love you, too, baby," I whisper, kissing her again. She pulls me even close. Her hormones are still crazy. I chuckle against her lips. "This isn't the best place, Lani-bear,"

"Like I care." she murmurs. I raised my eyebrow and lifted her chin. She grinned at my surprised expression. I guess I could get used to the pregnancy hormones. She pulls back and looks down at Danielle.

I run my finger softly down her cheek and smile. "Our beautiful baby girl," I say quietly, smiling. Lani fixes her shirt and puts Danielle back in her crib.

Lani looks up at me and smiled. Someone knocked on the bedroom door and opened the door. "Oh. I thought it would just be Lani," Elliott said, his lips pulling to the side in a frown.

I kiss Lani's cheek. "I'm go to go get something to eat." I say, "I'll be back in a while." She looked up at me with a frown. I gave her a small smile before leaving the room. Why did Elliott insist on seeing Lani? I sighed and got in the elevator. I go down to the cafeteria and get something to eat.

The young girl serving me gave me a small smile. "You okay?" She asked when I gave her my money to pay.

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"Good or bad news?" She asked, giving me my change back.

"I'm not sure."

"Want to talk? My breaks in a few minutes."

Why not? "Sure, sounds good." She smiles and I head over to a table.

Just under ten minutes later she sits down opposite me. "I'm Lexie."

"I'm Owen. Nice to meet you." I smiled at her.

"So, what's wrong?" she asked, cocking her head to the side and smiling.

"My fiancé’s ex is here. He came into her room thinking she was alone."

Lexie's lips pulled to the side as her eyebrows furrowed. "Did your fiancée know he was coming?" I shook my head. "Do they still talk often?" I shrugged and looked down at my food. "Are you sure you're alright?" she asks.

I sighed. "I find it hard for him to be around her. Even though me and my fiancée had our third baby-"

"Wait. How old are you?" She asked, surprise clear on her face.

"Eighteen." I tell her.

She nodded and gestured for me to carry on. I smiled; she didn't judge me or Lani like other teenagers did. "Yeah, so even though we have our third baby now, he still wants to be with Lani - or it seems that way," I tell her, sighing.
