When I wake up, Lani's laying on top of me, an adorable half asleep expression on her face. "Couldn't stay away?" she teased, kissing me softly.
I kiss her back. "I can never stay away from my girl."
She grinned against my chest as she hugged me. "Good, my charm works then." I chuckled and squeezed her gently.
"Do you know if we're getting the house?" She asks.
I blinked and ran my hand through my hair. "I guess we'll have to phone up and find out. I haven't heard anything, yet."
She nods. "Okay, I hope we get it."
"I'm sure we will," I said quietly, burying my face in her hair and sighing.
She holds me tight. "I love you."
"I love you too Lani-bear."
"The twins are being very quiet," she said.
"My parents are looking after them; they said we could get some more sleep."
Lani nods. "They're so sweet."
I nodded and kissed her head. "We should take them out to dinner with your parents soon," I said, running my fingers along her back.
"We should." She nods. She leant on her arms and hovered over me. "It's something bothering you?" she asked quietly.
"No, not at all." I smiled up at her to show nothing was wrong. She nodded but still looked uncertain as her eyes flicked over my face. I kiss her softly. "Don’t worry."
Her arms wrapped around me as she kissed me back. "Okay, sorry, I'm just being paranoid," she said quietly, smiling.
"Everything will be fine Lani-bear." I reassure her. She nodded against my chest, but I could still feel the tension coming off of her. I sigh. I don't know how to make her feel more confident.
"Lani, are you worried about your dream coming true?" I asked her quietly.
"I am a little bit," she said softly, her hand linking with mine.
"I'm scared it won't turn out well." She says very quietly.
"I know we're young, but I'm going to try my hardest to make it work, Lani-bear. And I'm hoping you are as well," I added quietly.
"I want this Owen. Our life together, our family. I want it more than anything in the world."
I kissed her softly. "Good. We'll make it work, I promise."
She kisses me back and holds me tight. "I believe you."
