The sound of a bell alerted me that Sam and Jake were finally here. "Thank God!" I smiled at them. "Does this suit make Matty look horrible?"
Sam laughs. She's seven months pregnant now. "He doesn’t look horrible. He looks like his daddy. Not ready."
I narrowed my eyes at her. "Shouldn't you be with Lani?"
"She didn't like my honest opinion," she muttered, crossing her arms over her chest.
I frown. "What do you mean?"
She sighed and leant against Jake, who wrapped his arm around her absentmindedly while he was looking around. "I just said that I didn't really like the dress she wanted on Danny," she said quietly.
"Oh God, please don’t tell me she put the dress on Danny from her grandma?"
Sam chuckled and nodded. "Yeah. That's the one. I take it you've seen it?" I nodded and sighed.
"It’s awful! She hates it too, I don’t know why she's having Danny wear it. I mean she’s the one that wants good wedding pictures."
Sam sighed and rubbed her stomach. Jake grinned down at her before kissing her. "Right, come on, Matty. We don't want to see auntie and uncle kissing." Matt looked up at me and grinned.
I carry him out of the room. "Daddy!" I hear Nicole scream. Oh boy. I start looking for her.
"What are you doing, Nicky?" I called, spinning around. I spot her bright red shoe sticking out from the suit rack. I chuckled and separated them for her to crawl out. "How did you get in there?" I ask her, pulling her up.
"Mama." she says. "Dress." I chuckle. She and Matt can only make out two to three word sentences.
"Yes, mummy is buying a dress for Danny today." Sam grinned down at Nicole when she wrapped her arms around her legs. "Right. Can you look after her for a minute while I deal with Matt's suit?"
"Of course." Sam smiles.
"Right, come here, Matty. Let's get your suit fixed up." He grinned and opened his arms. I smiled and picked him up before taking him over to the smaller suits. "Which one do you like?" I ask him, showing him two navy and a black suit. He points to a black one. Which is the same one I'm wearing just for him. He wrapped his arms around me and I hugged him. "Are you looking forward to the wedding, Matty?"
"Mama and us." he says.
I smile and kiss his forehead. "Do you want to try to suit on?" He nodded and grinned. I grab the suit and carry him into the dressing room. Once I dress him in it, I smile and let him face the mirror. "What do you say, Matty? Shall we buy these suits?" He laughs, nodding. "Alright, looks like you and I are all set."
"Wait, wait!" I hear Sam call. "You've got to come out so we can see you!" I chuckle and walk out of the dressing room with Matty. "You two look adorable!" Sam clapped her hands together and grinned.
"Thanks." I kiss her cheek. "We'll be back." We head back into the dressing room and change Matty then I change.
Jake grinned at Nicole when we came out the dressing room. "What did you think of your brother and daddy's suit?"
"Daddy!" she smiles.
I chuckle and pick her up, swinging her around. "I have to take you to your mummy and grandmummy now, they have to buy to a dress," I tell her, kissing her forehead.
"No!" Nicole yells.
"Stubborn just like her mum." I chuckle. "You want to look pretty for the wedding, don't you, Nicky?" I ask her, tapping her nose. She scrunches up her nose. "You and Danny will have the prettiest dresses there along with your mummy," I tell her, smiling. "Sammy is going to come with you as well." She pouts and grabs Matt's hand, since I have both of them in my arms.
