We got back to the Curtis house and the sun was close to setting.
"Hey Jazz follow me" Ponyboy told me while sitting on the couch next to me.
We silently slipped away from the gang as the were all watching Mickey and Soda was arm wrestling Steve for the laat piece of cake.
" Where are we going, Ponyboy? " I asked him nervous about what might happen
"Just follow me, I wanna show you something" He said walking around to the back of the house "Climb" he told me.
" Climb?" I asked questionably
" Yeah hurry" He answered.
We were sitting on the roof and Pony told me to turn around. I saw the most amazing sunset in my life
"Achem" Pony coughed.
"What is it Pony?" I asked him.
"Jasmine," he started, I knew this wasn't good he called me by my real name, "I really like you. I have for awhile now. I was wondering if you would be my girl?"
I got like mutant butterflies in my stomach. So I just tackled him in a hug.
He laughed saying "Is that a yes?"
" Of course Ponyboy Curtis I will be your girl!" I whisper yelled in his ear
We juat layed down on the roof, with him holding me.
Eventually it got dark and me and Pony fell asleep on the roof.

I woke up to my name and Pony's being shouted over and over. I was still in Pony's arms on the roof, he was still asleep.
"Pony" I whispered shaking him awake. "Wake up, Pony."
"What is it?" He asked sleep still in his voice.
"I think their looking for us," I told him.
We heard them running all throughout the house yelling our names. We just decided to wait up here till someone found us or it got to late. He sat next to each other and I leaned on Pony's shoulder
"GUYS," we heard Steve shout. I heard all of the guys running then saw them outside "I found the lovebirds," he said singing on the word 'lovebirds'.
"Shut your trap, Randle," I yelled at him.
We climbed down to the ground and Dally told the gang he was gonna take me with him tonight. I didn't like Buck's place but I knew I would be coming back to Pony in the morning.
