An Outsider ( A Ponyboy Curtis Fanfic)

The Date

We got to the dingo about 2 minutes after he put me down. I saw about 3 Socs outside. Them Socs just get on my  nerves.
When we got inside a waitress came up to our table.
"Hey what can I get you guys tonight," our waitress asked.

"Umm 2 cheeseburgers and 2 Pepsis," I told her. I know Pony to well.

She brought us our food 5 minutes later. "So, how do you think it's going?" Pony asked me

"I don't know I've never really been on a real date," I replied honestly. I had been on one date but it was a double date with Dally and some broad who had a brother. At the end of the date he tried to kiss me and I slapped him. So I don't have any real experience with dating. But it felt nice to be with Ponyboy.

"Well I think its going great," He said grabbing my hand. I started blushing, Pony is the only one who could make me blush.

****Pony POV****

I grabbed Jazz's hand and it felt nice. Not awkward just nice. I don't get this way around anybody. Well, maybe Cherry Valance but that's different I could never go out with her.

"Where do you wanna go after this?" I asked her after taking a bite of my cheeseburger.

"I don't know," she said. Then her eyes brightened up light a light bulb was behind her eyes. "We could go to the old tree house by the lake!"

"That sounds great, do you still remember where it is?" I asked. Honestly I kinda forgot.

"Of course I do!" She squealed excitedly.

****Jazz POV****

We finished our food paid and were about 2 blocks away from the treehouse. I loved the treehouse ever since we was kids. We would always run here when we played hide-and-seek or we were sad or mad at the gang. Or if I was hiding from Dallas. It has a lot of memories.

"So what made you wanna come here?" Pony asked from behind me. I was kinda skipping ahead of him.

"I don't know. We just haven't been here for awhile," I answered. It was true we hadn't been here for about 2 years.

I climbed the barely visible ladder into the treehouse. It looked kinda how we left it. Plain wood. Nothing in here but the walls and floor. Pony climbed in next. We just sat there talking about us, and Ponyboy told me Dallas threatened to beat him if he hurt me.

"Don't mind Dallas, he is just an overprotective brother, he wouldn't hurt you that bad," I told him

"That Bad? So he would hurt me?" He asked scared.

"Of course he would, I would too if you ever hurt me," I told him matter-of-factly.

"I would never hurt you," he said. He started leaning in and so did I.

Next thing I knew we were kissing. It felt nice. He licked my bottom lip asking for an entrance and I gladly let him. I sat in his lap and we fell backwards. Me on top of him. It was the best kiss I had ever had. We separated. And climbed down the ladder and walked home in a comfortable silence hands intertwined.

Everything was great. Until we got home.
