*Doctor's POV*
"Ah, Doctor," Mckenna smirked, "Thank you for coming so quickly."
The Doctor gave a confused look. The Master Zeg chose a little girl as a host? he thought, Odd, but at least they're being unique.
"Why are you thanking me? Shouldn't you be at the least scared?" the Doctor asked as he surveyed the situation. He could see Chris was surrounded by some force field and had a worried look on her face.
"Doctor, you idiot! You've played right into her trap!" Chris screeched, "Why did you have to come save me?"
"Well, you aren't exactly saving yourself are you? What do you mean 'played into her trap'?" the Doctor replied, bewildered by the whole situation.
"I would have been fine!" Chris cried in a frustrated tone, "They only needed me to get you away from your T.A.R.D.I.S!"
"My T.A.R.D.I.S?"
"Yes!" Mckenna cried triumphantly, as if she had been waiting for a perfect moment to enter the conversation as dramatically as possible, "And now, thanks to you, we shall have it!" Mckenna turned around and ran down a hallway.
"River, Rory, Amy! Follow her, I'll get Christy!" the Doctor yelled running to Chris. River, Amy, and Rory followed Mckenna without hesitating before the Doctor got all the words out of his mouth.
"We're already on it sweetie!" River called from down the hall, echoing slightly. The Doctor knelt by Chris and looked for the force field's barrier. When he found it, he set straight to work with his trusty sonic screwdriver. He just needed to set the screwdriver to the correct setting.
The Doctor began muttering as he tried to get the right frequency on his sonic screwdriver.
"Why did you work so hard to save a girl you barely know?" Chris asked suddenly, breaking the tense silence, "It doesn't make sense."
"I could never resist helping. Besides why leave someone in trouble when you're sure you can save them?" the Doctor replied softly, "Now Christy, since- as you pointed out- I barely know you while I work this little problem out, help me figure out who you are. Tell me about your family."
"I can't really remember anything past this year," Chris admitted, "Not much, at least."
"Then just tell me what you remember," the Doctor requested. He wanted to keep Chris calm as he worked and he also wanted to find out who this mystery girl was. He hoped figuring that out would lead to the explanation as to why everyone felt she had anything to do with him.
"Well, I had a mother, father, and brother-" Chris began slowly, as if she were thinking very hard about her answers.
"Had? What do you mean 'had'?" the Doctor asked. What is this field made of?! he mentally yelled. No setting or frequency had work so far, usually he would gave escaped such a trivial way of confinement by now.
"Well, my parents died in a crash of some sort and my brother went to war and never came back," Chris explained."Who told you this? Aha!" the Doctor yelled as the field blipped and broke. "Let's go!" he cried grabbing Chris' hand and running after River, Amy, and Rory.
Chris and the Doctor ran down the hallway they saw River, Rory, and Amy go through. As he ran, the Doctor tried to figure out the rest of the Zegorath's plan. Why did they need humans? Why the T.A.R.D.I.S?
"Doctor!" River yelled snapping the Doctor back into reality. Amy, Rory, and River were trapped in a rope net. The Doctor oet out a growl in frustration.
"How do you three of all people get trapped in a net?" the Doctor demanded.
"No time to explain just get us out!" Amy snapped angrily.
"Can't you just throw it off yourselves?" The Doctor demanded.
"It has weights on it!" Rory said in reply.
"And if we try to move it, it shocks us!" River added.
Chris began to run ahead without the Doctor's notice. "Christy try and stop them from getting in the T.A.R.D.I.S!" He called when he had finally realized she was leaving, "And, don't do anything to get yourself hurt!"
"I have no idea what a TARDIS is!" Chris yelled back.
"It says 'police box' on the front. If the Zegoraths get inside who knows where they'll go!" River called faintly.
*Third Person POV*
Chris reached the end of the hallway just in time to see the Mckenna girl enter the T.A.R.D.I.S.
"Toodle-loo!" she called as she slammed the T.A.R.D.I.S door shut. "No!" Chris panicked. Chris began to run to it as the T.A.R.D.I.S dematerialized. Not knowing what else to do, Chris grabbed the door and a wall and held on.
The Doctor, River, Rory, and Amy came just in time to see Chris and the T.A.R.D.I.S disappear. No! the Doctor thought wildly, No, she didn't just do that! The Doctor ran to where the TARDIS had just stood as if hoping Chris would just be there.
"Will she be alrightt?" Rory asked.
"She'll be fine," the Doctor replied, distracted, "If Jack can survive that, Christy will too."
"Jack?" Amy repeated.
"Harkness. An old friend. Nice enough, but a terrible flirt." the Doctor explained, his mind whizzing. "Of course he was immortal back then, but she might get lucky and survive..." the Doctor added, more to himself than anyone.
"Any idea where they will go?" River asked, "All that little girl said that could have any significance was the fact that the place was long lost, but not impossible to get to."
"Hold on, I'm thinking!" the Doctor snapped. Where would the Zegoraths gain sturdy hosts with immense power that would require the TARDIS? Where was long gone? There were many planets that were long gone, but not all of them were easy to get to. Minutes passed when suddenly, an idea popped into the Doctor's head. "Oh no. No, no, no, no, no!" he cried out, fitting all the pieces together.
"What is it?" Rory asked.
"I know where they're going," the Doctor mumbled.
"Where?" River asked urgently.
"Gallifrey."
"They can't go there. Gallifrey's gone!" River sighed.
"No no no. Don't you see? They have the T.A..R.D.I.S! They're going to Gallifrey! Before the war!" the Doctor began pacing.
"Well, what do we do?" Rory asked.
"Isn't it obvious?" Amy said staring at Rory.
"No, not really. We can't exactly get there and we don't really know if they are even going to Gallifrey!" Rory admitted. "So what do we do?"
"We follow." River whispered. "We go to Gallifrey"
"Exactly," the Doctor said with a grin, "We go to Gallifrey! I'm going home!"

Hey!
So, they're going to Gallifrey! Woo-hoo! That mean paradoxes galore. *gulp*
Any theories? Will Chris survive? Will they go to Gallifrey?
Now, it's time to take a vote. Should I reveal Chris' true identity at the end of this adventure or the next?
You have a week or two to vote on it!
