Living with the avengers could be amazing, both the building and people were incredible. It could also be a nightmare, being the newest addition to the avengers quite often you got cut out of missions and fights. This happened frequently and today was no different.
You were sitting on your bed listening to music when the sound of whispering and footsteps disturbed you. Carefully you approached your door and placed an ear to it.
"Shush, She's gunna hear us!"
"I don't get why you feel the need to cut her out so much"
"Yeah come on Steve, she's gotta come with us soon"
"Yeah well not today"
The voices faded as Steve, Wanda and Tony walked off. To say you were annoyed was an understatement. As fast as possible you flew to the landing pad. Sure enough the whole team was loading up the quinjet for a mission.
"Really guys!" You yelled, descending gently.
"I told you Steve, you can't hide anything from her" Clint called from inside the jet.
"I'm sorry (Y/N), but you're not ready yet. We still don't know the full extent of your powers so please just sit this one out." The super solider tried to reason with you.
"You say that every time and for all we know my power could just be flying, I'm not missing this one and that's final!"
...
You stood and watched from the window as the quinjet took off. Mumbling curses you sat down and flicked the TV on.
"Do not be so down, (Y/N)" a smooth voice made you jump.
"Jeeze vision you scared the shit outta me! I didn't know you were in"
"My apologies, it appears we are...how does the saying go?...ah yes 'in the same boat"
"They don't trust you either?"
"Well not fully no, that is alright it will take time but I assure you we will be apart of the team." He floated over and sat next to you.
"Wanna watch transformers?"
"I have not seen this movie, but I should like to"
As you placed the disc in and resumed your seat next to vision your mind began to wander. Very few knew about your liking towards the android, only Tony and Nat. The difference was Nat you told and Tony found out while being a creep. Both of them had told you to go for it and that the feeling seemed mutual to them, but you weren't sure. Could a synthetic being even feel such feelings? Probably not. These thoughts put a damper on your mood and a frown replaced the light smile on your face. Vision (who had been staring at you this whole time) noticed this.
"(Y/N) is something wrong?"
"W-what? Ur no, vision it's fine."
"Please, if something is bothering you, allow me to help."
"It doesn't matter..."
"If it matters to you then it matters to me, I care about you great deal (Y/N) and I don't like to see you upset." He placed a hand under you chin and turned your face too look at him. You met his eyes and thank god you were sitting down, or you would defiantly hit the floor (*).
Slowly, Vision leaned it. You eyes grew wide as you lips collided. Slowly you kissed back and your eyes fluttered shut. This kiss lasted as long you could make it before you needed air. You rested your forehead against his and stared at the amazing being in front of you.
"V-vision what was-"
"I believe it is called a kiss, and you do it to someone whom you love" he smiled softly and peaked your lips once more before leaning back with you in his arms. Grinning, you hugged hime tightly. When the others returned you thanked Steve for making you stay, he was very confused.
