Loki Laufeyson x Reader [Seven minutes in heaven]

Hope this is alright, sorry if I've lost my touch after such a long time, feels good to be back :)

...a rhino horn keyring.

"Tony what in the actual fuck" she complained.

The room was full of confused faces, no one could work out who the horn was supposed to represent. Clint and Tony shared a look.

"You guys really don't get it?" Clint gawked

"No, so explain losers" Nat's voice came from the back of the room.

"Guys, it's a horn..." There was silence "and who wears horns?"

It took another second but then there was a chorus of "ohh"s and all heads turn to Loki.

"Come on that was so obvious" Tony cried

"No Tony, it really wasn't" (Y/N) sighed

"I am not participating" Loki growled

"Sorry reindeer games but this isn't optional" Tony nodded to Thor who grabbed his brother by the arm and began to drag him towards the closet "Consider it payback for destroying half of New York"

"Will you ever get over that?" he mumbled

Clint had grabbed (Y/N) and pushed her into the darkness

"Wait-" she was cut off by the door closing

Loki's sigh made her jump and the situation became real. She pushed herself up against the wall in order to put as much space between them as possible. He was also leaning against the wall but far more relaxed then she was. It was too dark to make out any facial features but his head was facing her.

"You seem nervous" Loki's smooth voice remarked

"I'm not nervous" (Y/N) whispered unconvincingly

"Are you scared?" he seemed irritated by the idea

"No, it's not that"

"Then what?"

"Look I just..." she tried but couldn't articulate the words properly

The truth was (Y/N) had developed a small crush on the God when he had first arrived on the basis of a truce with the Avengers. Over time this crush had turned into a small sense of longing whenever she was near him, the two had bonded over reading. It was hobby they both enjoyed and had taken to reading together in the living space. It was always silent and they never arranged it, it just seemed to happen. (Y/N) was the only person Loki considered a friend and the thought that she was afraid to be in a small space with him brought back all them memories of being considered a monster.

"Haven't seen you reading in a while" he commented, she sighed in response

"I know, I'm sorry"

"It's fine" Loki answered curtly

His tone made her flinch. There was silence, neither knew what to say.

"I really miss reading with you, it was pretty much the highlight of my day, heh" she smiled sadly, his head turned to her again

"Then why stop coming?"

"I couldn't really focus on my book with you around" she mumbled, assuming he wouldn't hear her

"What?"

Oh shit

"Um, well" she paused and took a breath "Loki I seemed to have well, developed some feelings for you"

It was quiet for far too long, and (Y/N) immediately regretted saying anything. Before she could recover the situation, he spoke.

"I'm glad"

"What?"

He took a step forward and was very close to her as a result, placing a hand on the wall behind her and leaning down a little to match her height. Slowly he pressed his lips to hers. She relaxed into the kiss quickly and moved a shaky had to his neck. His other had caught her waist and pulled her closer till she was pressed against his slim form. Her heart was going crazy and she could feel him smiling against her lips. They pulled back for a breath and she stared into his practically glowing green eyes. A small grin decorated his face and made her smile back sheepishly.

Light began to fill the room as Clint slowly opened to door. She would have pulled back but Loki's grip was far to enjoyable. He turned to face the archer and scowled.

"I fucking new it" he yelled to the others in the room, causing a rippled of laughter

(Y/N) buried her head in Loki's shoulder feeling her face heat up. He chuckled and leaned over to shut the door again.

"Hey!" Clint called from the other side of the door.

"We should probably go out there"

"Not yet" he leaned in again and continued to kiss her.
