Bucky Barnes x reader [save me]

This was an amazing request from @ Thequizgirl (sorry it wont tag you idk why)  Thank you sooooooo much! hope I didn't mess it up

It was early November in Brooklyn, which meant on thing. Snow like a mother fucker. Currently it was the middle of slight snow storm and one Bucky Barnes was making his way to his super solider counterpart's house for training. Why this late at night Bucky didn't know but he wasn't in the mood to argue. A lot of people still didn't trust that the winter solider had changed his side so he walked with a hat on and his head down. A large thump to his shoulder knocked Bucky out of his train of thought. He looked up and met an angry face.

"Hay bro! The fuck you think your doing? Look where your fucking going!"

"Sorry..." Bucky mumbled, not wanting to make a big deal he was just let the guy walk off. Then the glint of something shiny caught his eye.

The man was holding a five inch blade. Frowning, the super solider decided to follow him but slowly the crowd got more dense and Bucky eventually lost site of him among the large mass of people.

Ah shit....

Still he continued on to Steve's place, trying to put any bad thoughts to the back of his mind. The streets became more empty until it was just him walking alone. Suddenly a scream shredded the silent air. His head snapped up and before he knew it Bucky was running full speed towards the sound. It was a girl by the sound of it, and she was definitely in trouble. Bucky stopped at an alleyway, looked down and saw a sight he would never forget. the same man from earlier was towering over a young girl. He pressed the blade to her throat and tried to pull down her trousers.

"No! P-please stop!" the girl was trying to push him away but he was much larger. Luckily so was Bucky.

"Shut up you stupid bitch!" he dug the blade deep enough to draw blood and in an instant Buck was there.

A sharp punch to the jaw sent him flying off the girl. Another punch to the gut shut him up, and one more to the face sent him running. Bucky dashed back to the girl, she was unconscious and extremely hurt. He scooped her up and decided his place was closer then Steve's, before running at full sprint.

For the first time in a while he was thankful for the super solider serum in his blood, as it only took him a few minutes to reach home. Carefully he placed to girl on his couch and fetched medical supplies.

Black eye, busted lip, bruised pelvis, cut throat....

Bucky lost track of her injuries. He did his best to fix what he could but decided to leave it to an actual doctor. He went to the kitchen and put the kettle on before making two mugs of coffee and texting Steve. When he returned he found the girl was awake and very scared.

"Hay, you alright?" he asked softly.

"I-I...um, who are you?" she looked bloody terrified.

"Oh sorry I'm Bucky, the guy in the ally ran I don't know-"

"Oh my god you saved me..."

"Err...yeah I guess I did" he smiled sheepishly and handed her the coffee.

"Thank you so much...im (Y/N)"

"That's a beautiful name" he smiled again and this time she returned it.

Bucky insisted she stay a little, to help her heal and rest. He advised her to get some rest so she was asleep on the couch with watching over her. A little while later (Y/N) sat up with a jump, tears streaming down her face.

"You ok?" Bucky asked, placing his hand on hers.

"I-I...no" she broke down sobbing and he immediately pulled her into his arms.

"Was it, you know" he asked softly.

(Y/N) nodded and clung to him for dear life. Bucky held her tight, he felt a mixture of emotions. Anger towards the man who did this, sadness knowing this could haunt her forever but also a very strong attachment to the total stranger pressed tightly to his chest. They stayed like this for hours just talking and then laughing and finally sleeping.

"Thank you Bucky, thank you so much" she smiled softly then drifted off.

"Anytime (Y/N)" he placed a gently kiss to her head then slipped into darkness.
