Bruce Banner x Reader [Paperclips]

This is a little different but whatever, I REALLY like this one for once lol. ENJOY!

Bruce Banner was a huge nerd, then again so were you which is why you were perfect for each other. He also dressed like a huge nerd, checked shirts and band tee-shirts with faded jeans that didn't fit right were his style. You loved it but one day he changed things a little bit and wore a hoodie, you knew it was your chance. When Bruce went to go get something from Tony you snatched the pot of paperclips that sat on his desk and stuffed it into your pocket. When he came back you positioned yourself on the desk behind him and waited till he was really focused on his work. One by one you started to flick paperclips into his hood. You missed every once in a while and one hit the back of his head causing him to turn but you pretended to be on your phone.

It had been almost two hours and he still hadn't noticed. 97 paperclips were in his hood and ten more on the floor and he didn't have a clue. The pot was now empty but you were desperate to keep going, see how many you could get, so u slipped out of the lab and went in search of more. Wanda and Steve gave you some and you were back at it in a heartbeat. It was around twelve thirty when Bruce sighed and turned once more.

"Look I'm not getting any farther with this, want to grab lunch and I can get a clear head?" he seemed stressed so you happily agreed.

"Yer, let me grab my coat" you grinned, 165 paperclips in his hood and twenty on the floor.

How is he missing this?

You wondered, maybe he knew but was playing dumb? No...

Stepping outside you realized it was raining and quickly pulled you coat hood up. Bruce went to do the same but a shower of paperclips rained down on his head. He looked genuinely shocked making you believe he actually didn't know what you had been doing for almost four hours.

"(Y/N) did you do this?!" he scowled at you.

It was too much, paperclips were suck in his hair and glasses, and his hood had fallen back causing rain to pour down on him. You burst out laughing before running down the road. Only a few moments later a hand grabbed your wrist and pulled you into a strong chest. Bruce pressed his lips against yours and he kissed your roughly. Passers-by laughed and 'awed' at you two before you pulled away for air.

"Honestly, what will I do with you?" he smiled down at you.

"Wear a hoodie everyday so I can beat my record?" you smiled back and just like a cliché movie you shared a kiss in the rain again.
