I began to walk towards the training deck, ready to laugh, when another vision took over my vision.
"Are you f- GRRR" I threw my hands up in the air and stopped next to Haggard.
"I think I have the opportunity you've been waiting for," she said with an evil grin.
My eyes widened at the sight. This guy always scared the crow out of me. I ended up backing up into the wall, sliding down it in fear. Haggard's monsters always haunted me..
"How would you like to get revenge against the Champion?" She hissed.
The alien growled in agreement, narrowing his eyes and showing his teeth as he came into the light.
I pulled my knees up to my chest and shut my eyes, gripping the sides of my head for it to just go away.
I opened my eyes, shaking slightly. I stood up, dazed and continued walking to the training deck's control room.
Coran cleared his throat, "Two, two, one, two. Okay, listen up, guys. The paladin code demands you put your team member's safety above your own. A swarm of drones is about to attack," he explained.
"Huh?" You could hear Keith breath slightly.
"It's up to each of you to do everything you can to protect the other members of your team," Coran continued.
"Wait, wait, wait. What's going on?" Hunk asked, confused as usual. He gasped as his shield appeared. "Well. Did you guys get one of these?" He asked, looking at his teammates.
"Get ready," Shiro told them.
The drones began to shoot. Hunk ducked, which lead to Pidge getting hit in the back, dropping her through the ground.
"Protect your teammates or no one will be there to protect you!" Coran warned.
Hunk then did a dive through a hole after he got shot.
"Time to increase intensity," he said.
The blue, Red, and black paladin were the last ones left. The drones started shooting faster, and I was getting a lot harder to protect each other.
"You keeping up over there, Keith?" Lance asked.
"Just concentrate on keeping me safe," Keith snapped.
Lance scoffed,"Me? I own this drill. You're the one who needs to concentrate," Lance sneered.
The drones lowered and shot at Lance's foot, causing him to reflexively lift his foot, causing the laser to hit Keith instead. In lance's reaction, Lance tried his best to protect Shiro, but ended up getting hit himself, leaving The Black Paladin defenseless. Coran just groans and put his hand to his forehead in disappointment.
"To form Voltron you must trust in each other. This ancient paladin maze will teach you that trust. Your teammate can see the walls but you cannot. So, listen carefully. If you touch the walls, you'll get a slight shock," Coran warned.Lance put in his helmet. "Wait. Who is guiding me through?"
"Take two steps forward," Keith told Lance, hand in his mouth in conversation.
"Oh, no. Not Keith. Why does he have to be the man on the mic?" Lance complained. I rolled my eyes at his remark, but giggled slightly at the same time.
