"Who could have possibly known that we were heading here to save Shay?" Shiro asked.

"Rolo! Those liars must have told Zarkon," Hunk growled.

"We have to figure out how to get out of here," Shiro said.

"Wait! Do you have a giant castle ship hovering in the sky," Lance realized. "-Allura, can you please come get us?" Lance asked, looking up towards the ceiling.

"How do you expect her to do that, genius?" Keith said, my arm around his shoulders for support.

"I don't know, maybe they got teleporters or something," Lance replied.

"We're quite occupied at the moment," Allura said with a slightly raised voice through the coms. "We're completely surrounded by Galra ships and were taking heavy fire!" She shouted. There was a slight pause, but I knew what exactly what was being said and what was going on. "Paladins, you need to get out of there as soon as you can!"

"This is it! We're going to die in here. I can say bye-bye to that parade," Lance sulked.

I punched him hard in the arm, which probably only hurt me more than him. "We're not gonna die in here! Now shut your quiznack, which, in context, doesn't make sense, but shut it anyway and get your butt in gear, Sanchez!" I shouted, having a slight coughing fit afterwords.

"Yes, get it together guys. -Allura, we'll get there as soon as we can," Shiro said.

"Perhaps my people can help us get out," Shay offered. She placed her hand on the core. "This is how we communicate. The Balmera senses our vibrations and sends a message  to those in the tunnels," she explained.

"Are you sure someone will be able to hear your... hand from all the way down here?" Keith questioned.

"The Balmera will deliver the message," Shay said, closing her eyes to concentrate. The Balmera began to glow from under her hand, soft moaning coming from the creature itself.

"Lord Zarkon, I have news to report. News that will likely please you, my Emperor," Prorok smirked.

"Proceed," Zarkon spoke.

I leaned against Zarkon's throne and slid down. This Balmera is really taking a toll on me, and soon I'm going to have to help Allura with the ceremony. She needs her strength.

"I have the Voltron Paladins trapped on a Balmera in the Javeeno star system. I've ordered a fleet to capture the lions and destroy the Altean Castle," C.P. informed.

"You fool! How dare you make plans without informing me?" Zarkon growled.

"Forgive me, Emperor, but I saw an opportunity and took it for the glory of the Galra Empire," C.P. replied.

"I suspect you are seeking your own glory, Prorok. But you do not realize Voltron's power," Zarkon finished.

"Paladins, the lions are in danger! You must get back to them immediately!" Allura shouted. There was another long pause. "Paladins, do you copy? There's a battle cruiser locked onto us. If it fires with its ion cannon, I don't know if we can survive," Allura informed us.

"We're trying, Allura. Shay's pressing her hand against the wall which apparently sends vibrations to the other rock people, who vibrate back or something? Hand talking? I guess the answer to your question is, 'Yes, we copy'," Lance rambled, explaining everything to the Princess.

"Shay, are yours sure the Balmera is sending your message?" Shiro questioned, but she stayed silent.

I could hear the Balmera moaning, but didn't know when the Balmerans were going to arrive. I began to worry.

"Let me try," I offered, walking up beside Shay, pressing my hand next to hers. I closed my eyes and began to focus. The Balmera began to moan, sending loud vibrations throughout my body, giving me its message and pain. "They're close," I muttered, collecting its pain. I'm sorry, I said to the Balmera through thought, earning a soft moan in response.

Then, the door behind us collapsed, causing everyone to gasp.

"Rax!" Shay cheered as her family walked through.

"We must make haste. We know a shortcut through the tunnels," Rax, Shay's brother, explained.

"Allura, stand by. We're on our way up," Shiro informed as we ran, following Shay and her family.

"Paladins, hurry. They're taking off with the lions!" Allura said, worry in her voice.

"Guys, did everyone make it to the lions in time?" Shiro asked.

"Come on, Shiro. Who do you think you're dealing with, a bunch of amateurs?" Lance laughed, before yelping after running into something.

"Do you really want me to answer that?" Shiro said, a smile being heard through his voice.

"No," Lance said in embarrassment.

"Let's go!" Shiro announced.

I began to take rest in the Balmeran tunnels, trying to regain as much strength as I could before I needed to use it to help Allura and the Balmera.

"Are you alright?" Shay's grandmother asked me, causing me to look up at her.

"Yeah, it's just," I sighed. "The Balmera's pain hurts so much. And I'm only taking a toll of it! I can't imagine what the poor creature is feeling in all," I confessed.

"Oh my. I agree. That must be a huge burden to fall into your shoulders, but you must stay strong. You have a unique power within you. I wish you luck, young one," Shay's grandmother said, resting a hand in my shoulder.

"Thank you," I replied. A smile of hope crept across my face as I was then transported back to Zarkon's ship.

"The Galra fleet and all sentries on the Balmera have been defeated," a soldier announced.

"No! How could this be? Lord Zarkon, I will do all that I can to recapture Voltron for the Galra," C.P. cried.

"Silence, Prorok. I have plans that you cannot comprehend," Zarkon snapped.

"Mission accomplished," Keith announced.

"They did it," I announced it Shay's family, a smile on my face. I feel like I'm forgetting something, I thought.

Her family smiled and cheered with glee until there was a huge crash outside.

"AAAAahAh!" I screamed in anguish. "We're in trouble..," I told Shay, her face immediately filling with worry.

Okay. So I'm not sure what I'm going to do with they end of season two. Should I make two endings? Should Kiona fail, or should she succeed? Maybe we should just wait and see till season 4 on October 13 and see what happens, yeah?

Anyways, I hope your summer is going well! I'm personally very tired and unhappy with how season 3 turned out. But we'll see.

Stay crash my lovelies!
