"Can we break through the barrier?" Keith questioned, forming his sword.

"No. And whoever has taken the Castle has a crystal, which means they'll be able to fly the ship. We have to stop them," Allura announced.

"How are we going to do that?" Keith asked, seeming a bit frustrated.

  Then there was hope. "Keith, can you hear me?" Pidge whispered through the coms.

"Pidge, is that you? Where are you?" The red paladin asked frantically.

"Im inside the Castle," Katie told him. "Sendak had taken over and he's preparing for launch. He's got Kiona, Lance, and Shiro!" She informed.

"Pidge, listen. If they've started the launch sequence, the we dint gave much time before liftoff to stop it," Allura explained. She gave Pidge directions in how to delay the launch. And off the green paladin went.

"is this the Balmera planet with the crystals?" Hunk questioned Coran as the approached the creature.

"It's not a planet. Balmera are ancient animals. Petrified, but still alive. Their bodies naturally create the crystals that help power mini Altean ships. I often accompanied my grandfather to visit these majestic creatures when he was building the Castle of Lions. I'll never forget the first time I saw the sparkling surface of a Balmera. You're in for quite a treat," Coran informed the Yellow Paladin.

But Coran was wrong, the Balmera had no crystals and was taken over by the Galra. They were destroying the poor creature.

The two ended up hiding in a hole, trying to escape the Glara that had spotted them. The crashed at the bottom and were confronted by mysterious aliens.

Meanwhile, Pidge was following Allura's orders, shutting down the turbine, but she couldn't figure anything out since it was in altean. She winged it and cut everything inside with her bayard. She was found out; the Galra had caught her.

Shiro was wide awake, terrified of the situation they were stuck in.

"I've received A transmission generating from somewhere inside," the Galra soldier informed Commander Sendak.

"There's not much time before they get the ship running again. You must shut off the particle barrier so we can get in," Allura ordered Pidge through the radio.

"You got it. Tell me what to do," Pidge replied.

"The particle barrier generator is beneath the main hull," Allura began.

"She's telling the intruder his take down our defenses," the soldier told his commander.

"Yes, but she's also giving away his location. Find that room. Kill the paladin," Sendak ordered the centuries. "Repair the engine. Emperor Zarkon commanded us to bring him Voltron. The Schiphol rise before day's end"

Meanwhile, on the Balmera, the aliens were approaching Hunk and Coran, causing the duo to whimper.

"OK, don't come any closer! I don't know how to use this very well," Hunk informed the creatures. They slowly came into light reviewing themselves. "Wait a minute. You're not Galra," Hunk said, surprise and relief found in his voice.

"Nor are you," the female alien said back, gasping at the Galra ship above.

"A patrol!" The male creature stated,"Shay, we must take leave from these ones, now," he told the newly named alien, Shay, resting his hand on her shoulder as he turned back toward the cave.
