Voltron- Saving Them

"You five Paladins were brought here for a reason. The Voltron Lions are meant to be piloted by you and you alone," Allura announced.

Then why can I talk to Blue? I thought, almost tuning out the princesse's next words. I immediately shook the thought out and tuned back into her announcement.

"We must fight and keep fighting until we defeat Zarkon. It is our destiny. Voltron is the universe's only hope. We are the universe's only hope," she spoke.

"We're with you, Princess," Shiro spoke for all of us.

She and Coran lead us to their armor chambers, I was really excited for them.

"Your suits of armor," she announced as we entered the room.

They all walked up to their armor's capsules, admiring them.

"Cool!"-Lance

"Outstanding,"-Shiro

"Nice,"-Keith

"Oh, neat!"-Pidgeroni

Hunk on the other hand was trying to see how it would fit him. "Mmm... Hmm.," he hummed in disappointment of what he thought wouldn't fit.

"Princess, are you sure about this?" Coran asked, twiddling with his mustache. "They aren't exactly the best and brightest the universe has to offer," Coran Coran the gorgeous man stated.

"No, but they're all we've got," Allura said, putting some faith into them.

Dont worry Coran and Allura, they'll surprise you, I thought with a smile.

"Boys, it's time to suit up!" Shiro said, hands on his hips and a smile on his face. And girl, I added in thought.

As the boys, and girl, put on their suits of armor, I re-tied my hair up into a ponytail. "Hey Allura?" She hummed and turned her head to face me in response. "How do you work these earings?" She seemed a bit baffled by my question and hesitantly told me how. I thanked the princess and smiled, earning a smile back.

The Paladins stood in front of us proudly, they looked like superheroes! The Legendary Defenders of the Universe.

Allura placed her hand on the hologram that incased the bayards. "The bayard in the traditional of the Paladins of Voltron," she explained as they began to float and head toward their distinct paladin. "It takes a distinct shape for each paladin," she finished.

Each getting theirs and smiling happily. Lance of course is acting all flamboyant and funny.

"Whoo!" He shouts, pouting and scanning the room with his gun. But when Pidge gets hers, he decides to pester her. "Aw, you got a cute little bayard," he teases.

She hits and zaps him, making me stifle a snort due to Lance's scream and Katie's comeback.

"Yeah, it is pretty cute," she states, raising her eyebrow with a smirk.

"Shiro, I'm afraid your Bayard was lost with its paladin," she informed him.

"I guess I'll just have to make do," he says reassuringly.

We go back to the control room where Allura gives us the orders on retrieving the red lion. I end up sort of tuning them out, getting a bit bored, so I decide to check out the tech until she starts giving specific orders on what to do. Lance and Keith then have their binding moment of how they share Blue's energy, which is adorable of course. Allura then warns Mr. Mullet-Man about how temperamental the Red Lion is. Shiro then gives us our plan of attack. As we fly up I have a flash back of Shiro's orders.
