Saturday
10th of OctDear You,
I was so shocked that you came knocking on my hospital room. You have brought a basket of fruits, a bouquet of flowers with a cute heart balloon at the top with a get well soon card attached and on your left hand a cute teddy bear. You with Steve and Louis, along with some student council officers struts in my room like you owned them.
I didn't say anything because I was too shocked to move or say anything. I checked myself and damn worst day of my life ever! Way to make an impression huh?! My hair is in a messy bun, my hospital gown is wrinkled and my fluffy slipper is at the foot of my bed. I washed my face earlier but I didn't bother to brush my hair. Wait, did I brush my teeth? I hope I do.
You came closer to my bed and on cue, the door opened and Hyun enters.
"Oops, you have company!" Hyun looked at the people around with a smile and bow her head a little in greeting.
"Yeah... They just arrived minutes ahead of you." I explained while looking at her and giving her a silent message. I know she caught my message because she looked at Gabe.
"So guys, what brought you here? How did you know that Raegan is here?" She looked at Gabe and raised her eyebrows a little.
"Well, the school knows that you've been hospitalized because your PT is our principal's wife. Mr. Meyer asked the student council, which I'm the President, came and visit you to give encouragement and to update in your recovery." He explains matter of factly while the smile is not leaving his face.
Hyun and I just nodded our head and we glance at each other and have another silent message. "Now what? Looked at me, I looked terrible!" I looked at her pleadingly while she answered her stare. "It's okay. Leave it to me." Then we both smile.
"Well, she's okay. So far she can move her legs so it's a positive sign that she can walk in no time." Hyun said to Gabe while she takes a quick glance at Louis.
"Good. Here, take these. We prayed for your fast recovery. Come on, guys." I accepted his gifts and said my thanks. You just nod your head and smile. I just gave them an awkward smile and thank all of you once again.
See, my wish does come true. You are too good to be true. Who would have thought that this day would come that you've visited me given the circumstances, still you made me smile and it gave me the courage to be strong.
