Friday
30th of Oct.Dear You,
Halloween is just a day away and a lot of buzzing filled the air. The overjoyed students talked about Halloween parties and costumes that they want and talking about haunted stories that put a smile on my face.
I remembered a Halloween years ago with the other kids at HH. We geared ourselves with linen with holes in it for our costumes. Being the leader (coz I'm the eldest) we knocked every door in the nearby neighborhood and asked for candies. After midnight, we head back to HH and traded our candies with each other. What a fun night we had.
So it's our tradition to have a trick or treatin' with all of the kids and as always, I'm their leader. I merely participated in asking for candies, I let the smaller ones get my share and it made them happy and that's what I aimed for.
Anyway, back from reminiscing, after that incident with the nosebleeding and waking up in the nurse's office, last night as I was helping Sister Anna with some paperwork, the thing happened again. I passed out and I have a nose bleed. Sister Aimee was so worried that she urged me to visit the hospital for a thorough check-up.
I told her that I'll visit the hospital soon after I finished my duty at the cafe.
The cafe I worked with is called Ivy's, owned by an elderly sister's named Aurora and Celestina, Ivy's sisters. Ivy's is a medium establishment at the heart of town with a big open glass window, with creeping vines adorned the wall that gives its homey atmosphere. Inside was decorated with lines of tables and chairs arranged for comfort and style and one side of the wall is a collection of books that can be read by the customers.
I love working at Ivy's. I like the sisters who owned it, the cook Ms. Betsy and my co-workers Jen and Alice (not much though) and of course I love seeing you there with or without your friends or family.
From,
Me
