You (Secret and Trust)

Dear You,

It's me again huh. I don't know why I still continue to write about you and me but I like the thought that I can pour out my innermost feelings to you. I know that you will not know any of my rants about you but it gave me peace and assurance because I know that there is an iota of a chance that you will be reading this journal.

Only Hyun knows my feelings to you and I know that she will keep my secret to her grave, that's one thing I loved about her. She can keep secrets and so do you.

You may not know but I know one secret about you and Debbie Hart. I told you I'm not a stalker, I'll call my self observant. I was there are at the wrong place and at the right time. Guess I'll explain what I mean right?

It was one night in our junior years. Mid-June, one perfect night for a perfect walk. I was walking late to HH because I was on a double shift coz' one of the servers did not come to work and hence I needed more money to buy Astrid (one of the children at HH)  a birthday gift, I worked late.

Anyway, I was walking and heard muffled voices and due to my curiosity, I searched the origin and guess what, I saw you, Debbie Lopez (girl in my AP Chem last year)  and a guy that goes to our school.

Debbie is crying on the sidewalk while you and the guy are in a heated argument and shoving each other. I hid in a near tree and observed from the side. Your argument escalated and the next thing I know you are punching each other while Debbie is shouting at both of you.

I called 911 and 5 minutes later I heard the sirens approaching which alerted the other guy to ran in my direction so I hid and stay still in the tree. Good thing that I was away from the light of any kind and was hidden very good.

After the guy passed, I peeked in your direction and I noticed that you have blood on your nose and some injury which I couldn't see from my hiding place. You walked to Debbie and ask if she was okay but guess she didn't say anything because you keep asking her questions.

The police arrived and soon enough I heard from you what happened. You were in your nightly jog (hence your attire) and you heard screams. You looked for the origin and came up with Debbie being assaulted by that guy named Remy Heizt who happened to go to our school and who is an ex-boyfriend of Debbie.

The police invited you to the police station together with Debbie and the next morning I saw you with busted lips and black and blue eyes. Rumor has it that you fight with some guy who robs you when you had your jog that night. There is no rumor about Debbie and sure enough, the students at our school accepted your explanations on the matter.

I saw Debbie looked at you with gratitude once you and she met at the hallways. What about Remy Heizt, he was expelled from school and rumor has it that he was dealing with illegal drugs. They don't know that it was assault and attempted rape.

You kept her secret and guess that's another reason to solidify my love for you. Look how selfless you are. A knight in shining armor to someone who needs rescuing. Can you be my knight in armor too?
