Tuesday
27th of OctDear You,
I heard that you have a match today and I was so lucky that the match will be held at the next school. The fliers said it will start at 3 pm so I called Ms. Janice, the coffee shop manager and asked if I can come to work an hour late. She okayed as long as I stayed another hour in my shift which is ok for me.
School passed in a blur and I was at Riverdale High's school swimming pool seated next to the exit. I saw you enter the area and I was always shy to watched you wearing in just your swimming trunks which shows your lean torso and killer abs. I don't dare wander my I eyes down south because every time I looked at you I go crimson how much more if I looked down eh?
So much for my pervy eyes, I saw that you will be competing 8 contestants from different schools and at your side is your top contender Jezreel Meacham. Tall, well-built, sandy hair with hazel eyes and that menacing smirk that adorned his cute face which gave him an aura of being a bad boy.
The game started and as always I was gripping both my hands tightly and saying a small prayer and hoping that you will win. You see, I was always mesmerized on how good you are in swimming. Its as if you just glide in the water. The muscles in your arms strained as you swim and you have that serene and happy aura every time you are on the water.
You came in second but you just put that genuine smile of yours as you immerged from the pool. I was annoyed by Jezreel as he gloated and smirked at your direction when he immerged from the pool. Much to my dislike, he saw me from his line of vision when he doubled take and scrutinized me.
He must have felt that someone is staring at him and he looked around. Sure enough, our eyes met. I imagined what I looked like at that time, I was looking very pissed at him.
Sporting a pissed look, with matching pouting lips, arms are crossed, lazily leaning on the bleacher in the exit sign and looking straight at him. I know he doesn't know me coz we didn't meet in person. All I know of him is he is the number one competitor of Gabe and for those rumors surrounding him.
He must have said something to Gabe coz he looked at my direction, luckily for me I was wearing a hoodie and I put it up really fast and walked straight to the exit sign.
I hope that you didn't recognize me. You see, I told you in my earlier post that I'm always cheering for you if you had swimming matches at school or near. You just don't know it but I am your number one fan. I screamed your name together with your many fans (mostly girls).
At one time, I think it was sophomore years where your family came and cheered for you and I was five seats up from them in the bleachers. After your game, you waved at them and being me, I almost waved back. I caught my self in mid-wave and I embarrassingly put it back in my lap. Then I walked back to the exit not finishing the awarding ceremony.
