A/N: Skip this bit if you're like me and don't have time for unimportant humans speaking unimportant rationales for unimportant stories with unimpor- I'll stop.

Hi, welcome. I'm impressed that you managed to stumble across this... amalgamation of words and alphabets. I don't really care about who reads it, as long as I can make one person's day slightly better, I'm all for it.

This book, although, may not seem like a lot, it does to me. It's a gift for myself, a gift of commitment and I'm going to see it through to the end. I need to do this or else that annoying voice in my head won't stop reprimanding me about my inadequacy and incompetence to complete a simple book.

Wait, wait, wait... Hold up. That is one hell of a throwback, isn't it? Most you you who are here would have read the what's before this paragraph, if you haven't, what are you doing here? Go complete book 1, "The Idiosyncrasies of a Shadow"! This book will obliterate the ending of the first book for you if you don't read it.

Conscience: You can't even finish a simple book, you lazy bastar-

Me: Nah, ah ah... I did you mindless piece of crap! Ha! Now I'm going to write 2 books!

Conscience: You can't even finish 2 simple books, you incompetent little-

I will never win this battle.

As always, below is a series of poems that provide you with an idea of who these characters are, and if you're extra smart you might match them to their designated characters in the next part.

Again, special thanks to Snape75 and Fhanth for being the most encouraging people in the world, if you don't know these people, go and know them. Tap on their names, I linked them for a reason!

Enjoy, and hope this book doesn't disappoint, because everyone that has completed the first book will behead me and serve it on a platter if this ain't perfect.

*~*~* (Character 1)

I was a shadow.

Behind the warped lines of raindrops on glass,

Like my contorted vision of love;

Confused by my previous perception,

Never really understanding,

That there is more to love than just what,

I have towards my family.

*~*~* (Character 2)

I am a shadow.

I live under the shade of my own wretched fate;

I set alight my soul, to rid myself of shadows,

I sit and watch, as the light of my heart fades.

I hope and pray, that one day.

I may live the life that fairy tales say.

*~*~* (Character 3)

I am a shadow.

I stand stationary and puzzled;

I hear the roar of the gunslinger's blitz,

I stare into a pair of hazel eyes;

I see the pain,

I hear the lies, very much like my own disguise.

*~*~* (Character 4)

I am a shadow.
