Chapter 6:The Girl In The Hood

I couldn't see that snobby pants anywhere. It's already dismissal and I can't see her anywhere, she's always being picked up by her butler or whatever he is. What happened to her?

I'm holding some fake spiders in my hands, cause everybody knows that rick kids are terrified with gross things, especially spiders.

"If you're looking for Jewel, I suggest the clinic. Don't try to pull something on her for now, she's really upset." Twilight said then walked away with Sunset behind her.

I walked to the clinic and peeked through the window. I saw her sitting next to the bed where a yellow girl was laying down on. Jewel was holding her hand and crying. I can also see her phone on the desk ringing, but she wasn't answering it. What the heck is her problem?

Who is that girl on the bed? I haven't seen her in my whole life. I just decided to go, maybe it's not a good idea to prank her right now. I hopped on my motorcycle and drove home.

Applejack's POV
My phone keeps on ringing but, I never answered it once. I know it's gotta be Skyler or Vivian or Mom. I don't want to leave Shy alone here. "Miss Gemstone, you should better go home, I'm gonna stay here with her." Said the nurse Redheart.

"Ok. But call me instantly if there's any news about her, I'll be here quicker than a cheetah." I replied.

I grabbed my bag and put on a jacket, I've been in that clinic for 3 hours, so now it's already 6:00 PM. I am so screwed when I get home. Skyler called again, so I picked it up.

Skyler:finally! Lady Jewel, where are you?

Jewel:still at school...

Skyler:what!? Ok ok, I'm coming now.

Jewel:thanks Skyler.

Skyler hanged up and I tucked my phone back in my pocket. Skyler is the the same age as me, he's only 15 so he understands me completely. He might be young to be a servant, but he needed a home cause his family left him behind, so when he was just 8, like me, mom took him and raised him as her own son, till he grew up and now serves us.

Skyler's now in the front of the school. I stepped in and just remained quiet. They know my cousin and they cared about her too, so they understand why I'm not home yet. The gate opened and I went out of the car and straight inside. "Jewel! Oh Jewel I'm so glad you're safe. Where have you been?" Mom frantically asked me. She literally came running tords me with her high heels on, who can do that? Who can run with high heels without tripping or falling down?!

"I was just at the school clinic, watching over Fluttershy. The nurse took over for now, but they promised to send me a text or call me if there's any news about her." I responded.

"Oh what happened to dear Fluttershy?" She asked.

"Twilight said, she slipped and fell head first in the bathroom... Now, she might go in comatose..."

Everyone went quiet. I just shook my head and headed to my eye hurting pink room. I flicked the light switch to dim so it wouldn't be that bright. I stared at my phone, waiting for a call or a text. So far, there wasn't. I put my phone on my desk and went out to the balcony. "Mom, I don't know what to do anymore..." I said, looking up the night sky.

"Am I doing something wrong? Are all the things I've been doing my whole life... a lie? Am I really lieing to myself now? Mom... I.." I let out a sigh and some tears started falling. You know the feeling that the world is crumbling down into pieces right infront of your face, like the whole world is against you? Well, that's how I feel..

Sure, I have butlers and maids. But out in the real world, nobody knows me, nobody sees me as a person. They see me as a worthless pig. Nobody thinks I can do whatever I want, bacause I never wanted to take advantage of my stepmom's wealth, I still live the simple life I had before, but has a little twist in it. Snobby and wealthy outside, honest and true inside.

So much of being a simple teenager.

I remembered mom and dad, and I started to remember our theme song together when we were still a whole family. How they were still there with me when my parents weren't around yet they were the ones who made me feel better.

I laid on my bed and stared at the pink ceiling. I can't believe that I became an orphan, and... and I got separated from them. I stopped looking for them, I don't think they're even here.

"Lady Jewel, time for dinner."

"Be right there Vivian."

Then I heard the faint clanking of heels, slowly walking pass my bedroom, no doubt it was mom.

Something shattered in my bathroom. I slowly creeped to the bathroom and opened it just a crack, to see what's in there. My window was broken, I opened the door completely wide and saw a note, attached to a rock.

'I took your mom... now I'm gonna take you...'

My eyes went wide and I looked at the broken window. A guy dressed in black, pointing a snipper at me while sitting on a branch. This can't be happening!

He was about to pull the trigger. I covered myself, waiting for the impact of the bullet to hit me. The gun shot was heard throughout the streets. I expected to fall on my knees, bleeding. But instead, I saw a dent on my wall, so close to hit me. I looked back at the window and looked down.

The guy was down the tree and wrestling with a girl. Who's that? Did she just saved me?

The guy was no match for the girl so he just ran shouting.

"SOMEDAY! I WILL GET YOU APPLE JEWEL!"

The girl ran after him. She was wearing a hood on so I couldn't see who it was. I remebered what the note said. So I ran to my stepmom's room and busted the door wide. I felt relieved when I saw her reading her magazine. "Jewel darling? Is something the matter?"

"Uh no mom... nothing at all"

"Ok. Go to the dining area, dinner is served, I'll be there in a moment."

I closed the door. So it was the guy that killed my real mom. He meant that he took my mom's life, and now he's gonna take mine? Oh no this is bad. Real bad!

"I NEED MY SIBLINGS!!!"
