Chapter 19: That Question

Rainbowdash's POV

(3 WEEKS LATER)

Looks like Jewel's not gonna stick with the 2 weeks of absence. I've been patiently waiting for the weeks to pass by, I wanted to see her again, but I guess I can't.

"Hey Rainbow." Twilight greeted.

"Hey Twi." I replied rather bitterly.

"You missing Jewel too?"

"Yeah kinda."

"You really like her do you?"

How'd Twilight knew? Well, it went like this. I was so drunk last night that I accidentally told all of them, I know, how stupid can I be?

"Yeah... I miss her... So much." I said, holding back tears. I don't want to cry, I don't want to look weak.

"It's ok to cry Rainbow..."

"No thanks Twi... You should go, class starts in 10 minutes."

"Ok, see ya there Dash..."

"Maybe..." I whispered.

"What was that?"

"Nothing... I said see you."

"Ok then, bye Dash."

She walked away and when she was out of sight, I grabbed my bag and snuck out of school. Grabbing my keys out of my pocket and driving my motorcycle everywhere.

I have no idea why my instincts brought me to Jewel's mansion. I sighed and rang the door bell, the speaker next to it turned on. "Who is it?" Jewel's voice said.

"Jewel... It's me." I said. The gates opened and I went in along my motorcycle. I parked and went to the door, the maids opened it and I saw Jewel, she was standing infront of me, her golden hair was all messed up, her face showed no expression, she had a maroon blanket wrapped around her upper body, and holding a cup of coffee.

"What happened to you?" I asked, she said nothing and just grabbed my wrist and pulled me to her room. She locked the doors and went to the balcony. What the heck?

I followed her there and saw her staring off a distance. The view was wide and open, their place was like a freaking country club.

I stood next to her, copying her posture, arms on the railings, staring off a distance. "Why are you here?" She bitterly asked.

"Is it wrong to visit you?" I jokingly said to ease up the tension.

"You should be in school... You ditched did you?"

"I wasn't paying attention to class anyways."

She chuckled a bit before my phone vibrated. I turned to face the opposite side as I pulled out my phone and answered the call

Pinkie: where the hell are you!?

Ohhh, boy. It's Pinkie.... This won't end well.

Dash:I ditched ok? I'm at Jewel's place.

Pinkie:WHAT!? YOU WHAT!?

Dash: come on Pinkie, we both know you would've done the same. Plus, I wanted to see Jewel.

Pinkie:Dash... Make your move now!

Dash:what?! No way! We just became frienemies, it just won't work.

Pinkie:Make your move now or face the consequences!

Dash:what do you mean, consequences?

Pinkie:you know that guy Caramel?

Dash:yeah, what about him?

Pinkie:he was AppleJewel's ex-boyfriend! He wants her back Dash!

Dash: wait, he's at CHS?!

Pinkie:yes!

Dash: why haven't we seen him on the first day?

Pinkie:he was just around us. He didn't came anywhere near us 'cause we were always on Jewel's trail. Court her now! Make your move now. You can do it.

Dash:ok..

Pinkie:you're really gonna do it?

Dash: yes. You have a point, if I don't make my move now, he'll end up getting her. Remember what I told you about how that guy dumped her, she cried so hard that her heart broke, literally! She won't think twice about getting back together with him, I need to be the one who can seal her broken heart back together.

Pinkie:wow, when did you got all that cheezy. Nevermind, I have to go, coach is back. See ya tomorrow.

Dash: see ya Pinkie.

I hung up and faced the balcony to notice that Jewel wasn't here anymore. I opened the balcony door and saw her inside, sitting on her bed. "Oh, your conversation with Pinkie's done?" She asked.

"Yeah... Can I tell you something?" I asked, ohhhh boy, here goes nothing.

"Yeah sure, what is it?" She asked. Finally smiling, God I missed her smile.

"Aj... I know we've only been frienemies for a short period of time and we barely even talk and got along... But, I need to tell you this." I held one of her hand as I sat beside her. "I had... This feeling inside me that, I haven't felt in a really long time. I don't want to lose this feeling. This past month, I have been in love with you... Yes, I love you. Every single day, I love you. I was only too numb to realize that I did love you. You know those rescues from a hooded girl? That was me, I was there beside you through every mischief and trouble you got yourself into, I was there to protect you, because I care for you, I love you... I love you with all my heart."

"You're joking!" She yelled with disbelief.

"I'm not AppleJewel. I seriously am in love with you."-Me

"D-Dash... My heart... It can't take it."-Jewel

"Then, I'll cherish every moment with you, I'll protect you and keep you sfe and healthy. If you have an attack you can count on me to be there, because that's how much I'm willing to do just for you Jewel."

"Dash... I love you too...." She hugged me and cried on my shoulder, I hugged back, holding back tears of my own. "Dash, every single day, it's been bugging me. But now I understand completely. It wasn't just a phase, it was destined to be. I love you Rainbow Daring Dash."

"And I love you AppleJewel Gemstone."

"You don't have to call me Jewel... My real name's Applejack Apple."

My eyes went wide, she has a real name? I smiled, and pushed her lightly for her to face me. "That's much better... Applejack." I said, wiping her tears. "The only question is... Will you allow me to court you?"

"Yes! Yes yes! Absoloutely yes!" She exclaimed. Her smile slightly faded and she held on her chest. I saw this coming so...

"Here." I gave her the medicine and some water. She smiled weakly and drank.

"Thank you... You have proven that I can trust you... I love you Rainbow Daring Dash."

"The only problem now... Is explaining to your parents."

She frowned and hugged me, I hugged back. "Whatever happens... Nothing will change between us..." She reassured me. I guess so...
