Chapter 28: Distant and Death

Suprise update!

Applejack's POV
Everything seems to be going back to normal.

Well at least for my friends.

I haven't told them, but someone keeps giving me these threats. I don't even know what I did wrong, but whatever it is, I don't remember doing it.

I've been very distant from Dash lately. Not just her, to everyone as well, even mom and dad! I just don't want them to get hurt too, I mean, what if this guy who keeps sending these threats decides to attack when I have them with me? They might get harmed too and it'll be my fault.

Dash keeps calling and texting but I ignored them. I know, it's a bitch move, but it's the only way I can protect her. I've already failed at keeping my real mom alive, I'm not failing again.

The threats have been happening for a month now and it's giving me these thoughts that it could be Floral... My ex-best friend back in Appleoosa, but Honey, Cider and Candy would've warned me about her right?

It's midnight right now...

I opened my door as quietly as I can, making sure no one was around. I sighed in relief when I saw the lights flicker off, signaling that everyone was asleep.

Then this happens...

"Argh!" I screamed, feeling the familiar piercing pain in my chest. I could hardly breath and everything just started to blur. Damn it, what the hell did I do to trigger it?!

I saw Skyler running towards me. "Jewel!" He screamed. "Nana Cloud! Please! Help!"

I hieved and hieved and hieved, trying to take in air, but everytime I try, it just hurts even more. Fuck this!

Just take me away for heaven's sakes!

Watercolor's POV (You probably know where this is going)
"Watercolor, you have someone to pick up from Earth." Said Veronica.

"Right now?" I asked, seriously, it's like 12 midnight, what the hell happened?

"Yeah, go now before Heather nags at you."

I rolled my eyes and stdted to head to the gates. Once I was at land, right away, an ambulance sped by. I saw Fluttershy's car speeding behind it. Okay, that's my way then. I teleported to the hospital and the ambulance got there just in time.

Oh no...

No way...

This can't...

I ran with the doctors and looked at the stretcher they were pushing. "Move move move!" One of them said.
This can't be happening...

-Time Skip-

"It's already 3 'o clock in the morning Watercolor, you have to pull her arm!" Veronica shouted at me. I was waiting since earlier, still uneasy about my situation here. "For fuck's sakes Watercolor!"

"I can't! I can't take her to heaven!" I started tearing. This isn't fair, there has to be another way!

"It's better than Duke bringing her to hell!" Veronica sneered, narrowing her eyes at me. "It's heaven or hell Watercolor! It's time!"

"God damnit Veronica just shut up!"

"There's nothing you can do! It's time!"

I'm crying at this point. There's no way I'm taking another life of joy to her again! "Watercolor, please... End it for her. She can't take this anymore."

I looked at the hospital bed, tons of things connected to her body, her body is pale and her breathing is undsteady... I must end it, it would only bring her more suffering if I let her live.

I got up from the ground and nodded at Veronica, walking over to the bedside and grabbing the patient's arm. "I'm sorry." I whispered, before I pulled and her soul got out of her body.

It's over. Her pain is over.

"You did good Col." Veronica said, clasping a hand on my shoulder. I silently watched as doctors rushed in and the ear piercing sounds of broken hearted people rang through the room.
