I'm finally back, at HU. I really didn't want to leave California, but I got a 2 months till I officially go back and stay. I unlocked the door to my dorm, I seen Dom.

I  put my bags on my couch. "Glad you made it back here safe, bro" I dapped up Dom.

"Thanks, where's Darius?" I asked

"I don't know..I know he ain't with Rymia. She went to the football game today and he went and left somewhere.

"Damn, I'm tired.  I need some comfort, I'm about to call Ebony.."  I got my phone out of my pocket.

"You always calling that girl," Dom laughed, "Yeah, because she's cool." I said

"Nah, man she more than cool to you.."

"Whatever Dom," I shook my head,

"You know you like that girl. Y'all call each other everyday, I know you're phone bill high," Dom added. Dom walked into his room and shut the door.

I walked into my room, and flop on the bed. I facetimed Ebony, the phone rung a couple of times. Then she finally picked up,

"Keith, why are you face-timing me at 2 in the morning?" She asked, in a sleepy tone.

"Because, you didn't call me back." I answered, she groan and turned on her lamp. I saw her pretty face, she had her hair up. With a big T-shirt, it was hanging off her shoulder. 

"How was the game?" I asked

She was rubbing her eyes, "It was good, we won" She yawned

"I know you were bored, because I wasn't there." I stated

"Actually, I was not bored. I enjoyed the game, without you Keith Powers.." She turned her head up

I laughed, "You look good," I complimented.

She blushed, and covered her face. "Keith, stop with the compliments." she giggled

"I'm serious,"

"Thank you," She smiled,

"I'm going to let you get some beauty rest, I just wanted know about the game." I said yawning

"Ha, looks who's sleepy.." She said in a surprise tone

"Whatever Eb. But night babygirl," I threw up the peace sign

"Night," She smiled, and hung up.

I closed my phone, and got comfortable in my bed and fell asleep.

Next Day

I decided to go to the library, I haven't been there in a while. I miss seeing the librarian. I was walking to the library, listening to some Boys II Men.  There was a time when I thought life was over and out

Then I bumped, into someone. I fell back on my ass, "I'm so sorry" I said, I got up and rubbed all the dirt off me. I

"Its okay, Ebony" I heard his voice, I was instantly froze.

"O-O-odell?" I asked softly

"It's me" He responded, I looked up.

Flashback

I haven't seen Odell, since what happened in the hallway. My mom invited him over, so we can sort out our issues.

I was sitting at the dinning room table, tapping my fingers against the wood. He walked in, and look at me up and down. I turned away, I heard him pulled out a chair. Sat down, I looked at him "So?" He said nonchalant, rubbing his chin

"I miss you.." I said lowly

"I know.."

"Why did you break up with me?" I asked

"You know why.." He said quickly

"Was they're someone else?" I asked

He didn't say anything, I was getting heated I got up from my chair. I slammed my hand on the table

"WAS THEY'RE SOMEONE ELSE? LAWRENCE ODELL JACKSON" I yelled. He got up, and walked up to me.

"LISTEN, YOU'RE NOT GOING TO BE YELLING AT ME EBONY!"

"So answer my damn question.." I said getting teary eyed.

"Yes they're was somebody else, it was Mason." He admitted

"You slept with her? My best friend?" I asked, a tear dropped. He nodded, and dropped his head.

"I thought you loved me" I shook my head, tears were running down my face. "Please, just get out.." I pointed at the door.

I need to close this door with him, I'm tired of running away from my past. And not giving other men, my love because of this grudge.

"Can we talk in the library?" I asked, He thought about it. "Yeah." We walked to the library, he opened the door for me. "Thank you,"

"Hey sweetie, long time no see." The librarian greeted.

I smiled, and waved.

We sat at my table, "So?" He asked

"So?" It was a awkward silence.

"You know, the bisons are one hell of a team" He laughed, that smiled still gets me. "But, how are you Ebony?" He asked.

"I'm fine," I nodded.

"That's good, its been a long time since we seen or spoken to each other.." He said

"It has,"

"Ebony, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for hurting you, emotionally and physically. I know you still have some animosity towards me, I understand. You can feel that way, because I didn't appreciate you. You almost risked your opportunity to go to college because of me. And I did that to you, I really wish I could to take it back. You were there for me..And I'm sorry. " He explained. I started to get emotional, because I know he was being genuine.

"Thank you, Odell. It means a lot to hear that from you, you were my first love and heartbreak. And for you to apologized and admit you're wrong doings it means a lot." I said wiping the tears from my eyes.

"No, Thank you Ebony. That relationship taught me to do better,"

I smiled, because people can really change. And all this time, I thought he would be the same. "I'm over here, getting teary eyed. Per usual," I laughed. He got up, he had held his arms out. "To close this chapter?" He said

I got up, and walked over to him. I gave him a hug, I felt a  relief that I finally can close this chapter with Odell. And finally start a new chapter with that somebody..
