Odell, left from the library. And I checked out a book, from the library.

"Who was that, sweetie? You're boyfriend?" The librarian asked.

"No ma'am, that's my ex." I answered, She nodded "Ms. Wilfred, I need some advice," I said

"Okay, go ahead and spill it,"

"There is this guy, we're friends. And he likes me and I like him, but I want to be with him. But, I'm still holding back. What should I do?" I asked

"Well, Ebony...I think you should give that young man a chance. Its completely understandable that you're holding back, because you're cautions. But he's not going to keep waiting for you, trust me I know from experience. So go for it, y'all are already friends. So, why not?" She said, she shrugged.

I do like Keith, I just love being in his presence. He's just someone, I always wanted I can talk to him about anything..

"Thank you, Ms. Wilfred." I smiled,

"You're certainly welcome. I better see you before, the break." She pointed.

"Yes ma'am, have a good day Ms. Wilfred." I laughed, we waved

I grabbed my book and left the library.

I was at home, watching Martin. One of my favorite TV shows of all time. That's when Rymia came out her room, on the phone.

"Hey" I greeted.

"Hey, Darius isn't picking up.." She said, I paused the TV

"So where is Darius?" I asked, because its almost been two days.

"I don't know, I tried calling him," Rymia worried,

"What happened when you tried calling?"  responded

"No answer," Rymia answered. This is weird because  usually, he answers Rymia phone calls. I'm beginning to be worried also,

"I just forgot, what I came out for." Rymia paused.

"Do you want me to try to call Keith? To see where he is.." I offered. Rymia thought about it, then somebody knocked on the door. "I'll get the door.." I said, removing the covers from my legs.

I opened the door, it was Keith. I jumped on him "KEITH!" I said
He wrapped his arms, around my waist.

"You guys talked today? In the middle of the night.." Rymia said

"I missed you," He put me down,

"Same," I blushed. He walked in, "Hey Mia" He greeted, Rymia.

"Hey Keith, have you talked to Darius?" She asked

"Yeah, just before I left. He got back from, the store." Keith answered

"Okay," Rymia answered, she walked back in her room. We sat on the couch.

"When did you get back?" I asked

"When I called you.." He answered, I should've known something was up.

"I'm glad, you're back. I needed you're presence," I said, he looked at me. "Not..in a creepy way," I said

He started laughing, "I know what you mean Ebony," I laid on Keith's chest and we were watching Martin.

"I love this show so much," Keith laughed

"Me too. I really want that Martin and Gina love honestly," I sat up, from Keith's chest.

"You could have that.. with me." Keith stated bluntly

I was surprised that he said that, "Really?" I asked softly

"Ebony, I want you. You're somebody that I want in my life, I'm tired of hiding my feelings from you. I want more with you," He explained

I was taken back by his words, I didn't know he was so passionate about it. I know that he had some feelings for me, but wow.

"Wow. I feel that way about you too,"

"C'mere" He commanded, I lean in. Keith cuffed my face, he gently placed his lips on mine. I kissed back, Keith parted his lips for more. His lips were soft and I felt the connection between us.

It was a connection I never felt before. It was something special, it was like fireworks going off in my head. I pulled back, I slowly  opened my eyes. Keith looked at me and bit his bottom lip,

"Woah," I was at lost of words, I wiped my face down.

Keith laugh, at my reaction. "Was I that bad?" Keith smoothly asked

"NO. I mean you were okay," I tried to cover it up, actually Keith is probably the best kisser ever. Keith looked at me, "Fine, I'm just kidding. You're a really good kisser.." I said nervously.

"Thank you, soft lips" He said, I blushed. Keith stayed for another hour, we chilled and finishing watching season 3 of Martin.

Keith had to leave because he has a early class, he was walking to the door. I was a bit upset, because I wanted him to stay and watch the fourth season with me. But Keith gave me a goodnight kissed to cheer me up.

And it did, I closed the door. I was going to go to bed, but I heard sniffing. Coming from Rymia's room, I decided to knock on the door.

"Mia?" I knocked,

"Uh, yes?" Her voice cracked, now I'm really worried. "Can I come in?" I asked. She didn't say anything, until the door opened. Her nose and eyes were red. I could tell she's been crying,

"Oh my goodness Rymia. Are you okay?" I asked, we both sat on her bed.

"No," She said

"What happened?"

"Bucky passed away.." She cried, Bucky is Rymia's dog. She got him, for her 15th birthday. She was super close with, that dog. And its heartbreaking to hear those words come from her mouth.

"I'm so sorry," I rubbed her back,

"Some coward hit him, with their car." She said angrily, "He just laid, in the road. Basically crying for help, and my mom couldn't do anything.." She cried in my arms. I feel so bad for Rymia..

"I'm so sorry,"

Uh I'm sorry for adding that sad moment. But next chapter is going to be a time jumped, letting y'all know so no confusion.

And please get ready for some tea. Y'all thought that was it on Ebony's side, but y'all are not ready..
