Chapter 15

I'm on school today. Lucy and I were absent for a day; we missed something good. The lesson yesterday is about faith; our teacher denied the logic of religion, and explained some great shits about faith. Tho, too bad we missed it. Too bad.

Oh yeah, Domenic's currently on the hospital, he couldn't move his leg, because he was injured. Poor guy, That probably hurts.

The moment we left the jungle, I've rushed him to a Hospital. He wasn't on a dying state, yet he couldn't move. I wasn't actually planning to do it, but my conscience told me to do it, the moment Domenic cried out of pain when I carried him.

He's probably okay now.

*Door Opens*

Oh boy, he's here. I wonder what lesson he'll give today. Yesterday was about faith, too bad I missed it. I hope this new one's probably cool.

"I am here!" He shouted, the moment he reached the table up front.

"I bring forth good news, and bad news. What do you want to hear first?" He asked us.

Good news and bad news? What might that be? Is he going to die soon? Does he know why life even existed? Did we survive the Great Filter?

Okay okay okay, those questions were overboard. I guess we'll never know, if we never ask him. Although, I prefer asking good news first. It's like, The Calm Before The Storm.

"I think we all wanna hear the good news first." I told our teacher boldly.

"No, I think we all want to hear the bad news first." Lucy stated.

Oh boy, here she goes again, interrupting and things. She's my seatmate, but what the hell? Why did she contradict my decision? Or her being my seatmate makes no freaking sense about contradicting. But I wonder, why does she want the bad news first?

"Okay. So, how do we decide this once and for all? Both of you, care to explain why you want to hear the good news first? And Vice Versa?"

"Sir, I believe that more people want the calm before the storm, we can prepare for the bad news, knowing the good news first." I answered proudly

"Okay, good explanation. You, Lucy, explain your side, why do you want the bad news first?"

"Why are we even debating about this? We'll know it either way." She replied.

Okay, I can see her point. Why the hell are we even debating about this? Nothing's going to change even if we know the bad news first or vice versa. What the hell is he up to again?

"You're in my class, you follow my rules. We're in a special class, the Social Psychology Class. Now answer my question, or face the consequences." He said arrogantly.

Oooooh, now that's the scary side of our teacher.

Lucy sighed, before she answered.

"I believe, we all want to hear the bad news first. Think about it, would you want to have all the fun first before the suffering? Or do you want to suffer first before you have fun? Isn't suffering for your fun feels more satisfying? So yeah, I guess you got my point there. Working for your pleasure feels more satisfying."

Okay, that was deep. Too fucking deep. I wonder if she can see Adele rolling sometimes, she's just too fucking deep.

"Okay, that was a great answer. I've decided to tell you the bad news first, I don't really care about your answers. We all know the slogan, Ladies First." He said after he smiled.

Whaaat!? Pssh. Gender Equality to the max. I agree that Lucy's answer was great, but if I think about it, what if I've also answered something great and deep. Would he choose my answer? NO! He probably won't. This is why the world needs more Meninists than Feminists.
