The hours were slowly passing by, the conversation just keep on changing. Now the conversation is about what might happen next year.

"We all know I won't be there," Gene said.

My happy mood disappeared once he said those words.

He's really leaving...I should be happy! But I'm not...

A bing came from someone's phone. I checked mine.

"Not me,"I said.

"I didn't get a text,"Gene said.

"It was my phone,one of my friends is texting me about how she's going to win Jerry over with food,"She said.

"Who's Jerry?" Zane asked.

"Is it like Tom and Jerry?" Michi asked hopefully.

"Maybe he's part of Ben and Jerrys Ice cream,"Zenix said.

"Unfortunately Jerry is a squirrel! And she did have a crush called Ben so,"She laughed.

We looked at her confused at as she started laughing her head off.

"Is she okay?" I whispered to Gene.

"I don't know...,"He laughed.

"Should I call the Police or Something...?" Zane said out loud.

After it seemed like 5 minutes she stopped laughing.

"Now where were we?" She said clearly her throat.

I laughed gently.

"I forgot," I replied.

I looked at the brown eyed boy at the left side of me. He seems to be lost in his thoughts.

I wonder what he's thinking about...

I gently poke his shoulder...,"Zenix?"

He looks at me with a crooked smile,"Yeah?"

I just smile up at him...

Am I falling for Zenix...

Zenix smiled down at me. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and pulled me into his side.(A/N Before you get angry at mah,This IS NOT going to become a Gene xReader x Zenix but the sequel? You'll find out ;3 😏😏😂)

I snuggled my face into his side. I smiled happily. I didn't care if people were watching me,they wouldn't care. They're my friends after all. But I still felt daggers on my neck.
