as i was walking to the docks, i heard distant noise and saw taehyung trudging towards me, holding something wriggling under cloth.
"arf! arf!" barks erupted from the cloth bundle, and something squirmed in taehyung's arms.
"h-hey! chim be careful!" taehyung warned, before a puppy leapt out of his arms and bolted towards me.
i gasped, stumbling, before falling back. the pebbles under my feet scattered under me and i shut my eyes for impact.
i winced from the pain, but felt my lungs get squished when something plopped onto me.
"arf!" opening my eyes, i saw a brown and white akita pup. it looked into my eyes intensely, like they were made of glass. it was as if he saw the world in my eyes.
i closed my eyes in fear, and felt the pup closing in.
3RD PERSON POV:
taehyung ran over to yoona, scared of what jimin would do, since he never liked strangers.
"chi-" taehyung was then interrupted by laughter and chuckles erupting from yoona herself.
the stoic girl he befriended, who at most gave him a smile, created the most beautiful sound he had ever heard.
he was awestruck, hues of pink and red painting his cheeks, and his breathing grew erratic.
"s-stop it!" she laughed aloud, trying to push off the overly affectionate pup, but failed as it continued to nip and roughhouse with her. the pup's happy barks, affectionate nips and wagging tail were all signs that he liked the world he saw in her eyes.
that day, was the first for three things,
jimin accepting somebody so quickly,
yoona laughing,
and taehyung realizing how precious her smile was.
