the next day, i woke up as early as i could, and felt my heart race. the whole town was practically asleep, including my aunt with the way she had been snoring.
i snuck around with careful steps, and stole my aunt's blanket to use as cover.
throwing it over me, i looked over to the window and saw taehyung waiting with a smile.
smiling back, i opened the door and gave one last look at the place i had known as home.
although it wasn't a very good one, it was all i had. glancing back at taehyung, i closed the door behind me and was led by him.
it was now or never.
3RD PERSON POV:
the two ran and ran until they reached town. feeling nervous, yoona soon got it together and squeezed taehyung's hand for reassurance.
the whole town had in fact, been asleep. no townsfolk were in sight, making it perfect for the two to walk through.
they walked for a while, and were soon on the other side of town. they were actually getting pretty close to the outskirts.
soon they met a hill, and were walking up it. when they were nearly reaching the top, taehyung spoke.
"i always visited the town at this time and left later on, which might be why you never saw me around before."
"but why so early?" yoona asked, and bumped into taehyung's back. he then turned around. wondering why he stopped, she walked beside him and saw he was looking at something ahead.
she looked over too, and immediately understood why.
the village was shrouded in a dense fog, and looked mysterious. due to the now shining morning rays, the sea ahead of the village glistened, and the docks looked like toothpicks. the sky was also beginning to switch tones as blue seeped into the grey clouds.
all paired together, the scene had been very beautiful. but not as beautiful as the house yoona turned back to.
"this is the home that nice doctor let me have."
taehyung brought her along to the front of a moderately sized greenhouse. one with chipping white paint, the fresh smell of plants, and many colored glass windows.
the moment she stepped into the greenhouse, yoona was met with a hyper jimin at her feet. chuckling, she kneeled down to give the pup a scratch behind the ear.
"so what do you want to do first?" taehyung asked, as he closed the door. looking to taehyung with tired eyes and an even more tired smile, yoona blinked.
"sleep."
chuckling, taehyung could understand why she wanted to rest. it had been an eventful time for her, and it's still pretty early. so, he led her to the makeshift bed they had in the center of the greenhouse, a pile of blankets and pillows, and she plopped down.
a blush came to her cheeks when she smelled the pillow, it smelled just like taehyung.
soon, she was lulled to sleep by the smell, and all taehyung could do was chuckle at how fast she slept, unaware that she had smelled his pillow.
he then walked away to sleep somewhere else, until his shirt was tugged onto by yoona. getting the message, he crawled into the heap beside her, and threw a huge blanket over them.
her peaceful sleeping face is what lulled him to sleep, and the two were lost in dreamworld.
finally, jimin managed to climb under the sheets and popped his head out between taehyung and yoona. the three were now sharing warmth and comfort in the beautiful greenhouse and yoona dreamt well.
in her dreams, she couldn't help but think this was the best sleep of her life.
