wiping away her tears, a beige envelope was opened up. it's contents were covered with a light layer of dust, but yoona blew it all away.
opening the packet, and holding the newspaper her aunt had thrown at her feet, yoona tried reading it all, while confined in mister byun's arms.
in the packet was a birth certificate.
HAN AREUM was the name sloppily written on it.
and despite her insanely fast heart rate, yoona's eyes trailed over to the newspapers.
and if she had known what the newspaper had to offer before that moment, she wouldn't have read it as eagerly as she did.
some words stuck out to her somehow, but all of that report made her crash.
and burn.

Souls throughout town are now shattered, and grieving at the loss of two beloved people. As of [xx-xx-xx], the Han family, Han Yina and Han Taewon, have passed.
Han Yina who had been originally known as Park Yina, died in labor, leaving Han Taewon to look after their only child. Soon after, a ripped letter was found beside a pair of shoes on one of the highest sea port docks. Investigations show that the handwriting and shoes belonged to Han Taewon himself, who had tragically, committed suicide.
The note states that '[he] couldn't live any longer without the love of his life, and the call to join her grew louder when their baby turned out to be the spitting image of her younger self.' Thus, a good man laid down his life to join his wife in heaven.
All at the cost of the child they brought into the world.
We've lost two good people today all because of that child. Two childhood friends, who grew to be lovers, and are now watching us from above.
Please send your best regards and condolences for Park Chaeyin, sister of Han Yina, who has to watch over the one who took away her sister. The one who stole the light of this town.
The one that killed these two people.
Though our hearts are heavy, know that the Han couple are now happy together.
