Secret Admirer

Chapter 12: Liar!

"Tell me immediately! What's up? Has something happened?" I almost yelled into the cell phone.

"It's about Ethan. I saw him today in English class. When you weren't there. He asked Camilia in front of the whole class. He had roses and chocolate and a cute teddy bear which said, "I love you" on. He asked her to go to prom with him. I'm so sorry! I didn't want to tell you, but you know we are best friends and you deserve to know that he lied to you. Please forget about him, he really doesn't deserve you. I'm really disappointed in him!" Ella says and she did for sure sounded irritated. 

"W-whut!" I gasp.

"I'm so sorry!" Ella says and I'm pretty sure if she would talk to me in real life, then she would have cried in front of me with me.

"D-iid ... she s-say y-yes." I stutter.

"Since we do hang out with Camilia in school sometimes, I suggest you talk to her about this. I know she's not your best friend, but she's still a friend to both of us so I recommend talking to her. I talked to Camilia afterward, she said she wanted to talk to you, she begged me to keep this secret and that I wasn't allowed to tell you about this because she wanted it to be a surprise for you. I promise I didn't tell her about your crush on Ethan. Anyway, I had to tell you about Ethan asking Camilia to prom!" Ella says and her voice is shaking.

"Al-Alright, it's f-fine!" The lump in my throat is suddenly becoming larger.

"Just talk to her on Monday or ask her to come over. Really, I mean it. Oh well. I've a lesson now so goodbye. You will be okay, right? I'm so sorry for the Ethan thing. I really didn't know or expected that uh ... It was very surprising and I felt very bad for you, but I did speak to Ethan afterward you should know. He admitted that he lied to you, but only because he was too scared to hurt your feelings since he suspected you liked him. Like I said before, I'm still very disappointed in him and what he did was not good according to me." Ella sighs, but her voice is not so shaky anymore.

"Thanks Ella for letting me know! I appreciate it. What would I do without you!" I sigh in delight. 

"You would talk to animals if you didn't have me. You know, I know you love animals. By the way, I love you, buddy! Come back soon. Oh shit! The lesson has already started for five minutes ago ... Oh ... Sheeze! Uh! I need to go sorry!" Ella says with panic in her voice.

When you are angry with someone the best thing is to let it go, but no. I can't. 

I press on my contacts on my phone and there come all my contacts up. I press on "Almost Previously Crush" 

I changed his name from Ethan to Crush and when he rejected me, I changed it to Almost Previously Crush just in case I would change my mind and kind of start to like him again because let's be honest. I can try as much as I can do to forget about him, but it isn't easy because somehow I still got feelings left for him.

Then I press the message icon and write:

Hi, E!
I heard about that u asked Camilia 4 prom :(
I thought you weren't going to. (Ella told me everything)
Turns out u lied. Why did u lie to me? You could just have told the truth. 
U know what?

Never speak or text me again.
I'm so over u right now. 

Forever GOODBYE!
Have fun in England, since you are leaving during the summer break.

Oh.
Ps ... this is the girl, who you rejected and whose heart now is broken into pieces.

I press the arrow to send the text message. 
Great ... What have I just done? However, know what? He deserved it. Big time!

A few minutes later I decide to text Camilia as well. 

I press on "Buddy"(Buddy is my nickname for Camilia because she is my buddy.)  and I write:

Camilia!
This is Anna. I heard about the English lesson and we need to talk. Can u come over after school today to my house? I really need to speak to you. It's important. Please show up!
//Love Anna

Wait. No. I should remove "Love Anna" to just Anna or wait a minute, maybe not.

After the changes I press the send arrow button on my phone, then I lay my head on my soft white pillow. 

Love isn't easy.

Brrr ... Brrr ... Brrr..
The home screen lights up and a message from Ethan and Camilia are shown.
